What happened Taste of Thai? The original G is gone and so did all the original recipes. Apparently the building was sold, but... the recipes were kept with ?Hello Honey?. R.I.P. Taste of Thai Read more
I went here a few months ago and was charged for a meal I didn?t get and the food we did get was terrible. Just now I went to... look at reviews to see about trying again hoping it was a one off. Looked at the reviews and saw they are still living off thepositive reviews of a long time ago. This place is not the same as it used to be. Used to LOVE it. I?ll keep checking to see ifreviews get better and try again. Good luck and please try to make improvements. Read more
I had high hopes for this dinner, but it was unfortunately not a good experience. We ordered the pad Thai (was way too peanut... buttery, flavors weren?t very balanced), the yellow curry (very salty and a strange gelatinous consistency) and the fresh rolls(they didn?t have rice wrappers and gave us all the ingredients for them deconstructed in a box??). We got dinner here afterseeing a recommendation from our Airbnb host. After trying the food and looking at other reviews we?ve realized that therecommendation was under previous ownership. I hope the new owners can find a way to improve upon their recipes. Wish I had readthe other negative reviews before coming. Read more
I'm heart broken that this local gem, and the rad little grandma who ran the place are gone (did she retire or move on? I'll... drive anywhere for her cooking). The only thing that is the same is the name. The food isn't even distinguishable as Thai foodanymore. All the recipes are entirely different and it's obviously not made from scratch like it once was. ???????? Read more

The food was quite odd at first sight, but once you start eating the experience changes. If you order the #1 combo, Phad Thai... and Peanut curry, mix them together. I made the mistake of eating most of the Phad Thai before understanding that you should mixthe two dishes. The dishes are quite cheap for their quality which is nice. None of the curry my group ordered were watery or tosalty. We ordered pumpkin curry, peanut curry, and yellow curry. All good dishes for the price. And most importantly the staffwas nice enough to let us order a few minutes before they closed. We didn?t want to make them work after they closed, but mygroup was keen on trying them before we left Oregon. TLDR: Neat and unique place, amazing staff, and good food. Read more
