Amazing restaurant near big basin. Friendly people and quick service. Loved everything we had here. the garlic bread was yum to... start with followed by ravioli, pesto . Absolutely delicious Italian cuisine at a really beautiful spot. Dining under the redwoods is a lovely experience. The service... is also very nice and friendly. Read more
The service and the food were great and the outdoor seating in the middle of two adjoining redwood cathedrals is one of a kind.... We were in the area of a week and had lunch there last week (I had the vegan ravioli which was very good and the other 3 hadsandwiches that they all enjoyed very much) and went back tonight for our anniversary dinner. I had the cioppino and my husbandhad the ravioli and both were very good. Wine prices are as expected today but not too pricey. All of the staff are very helpfuland very responsive. I had eaten at this location 30 years ago and knew I wanted to come back for the atmosphere. The currentrestaurant is well worth visiting for the service and the ambiance of the redwoods. Read more

Didn?t know what to expect from this restaurant hidden away somewhat in the redwoods. They have a large dining area where most... people seemed to be eating. Food was tasty and well presented. Realised afterwards that this is the sister restaurant to the onein Scotts Valley. Read more
Great Italian food and consistently good service. I highly recommend trying their specials. This night, I enjoyed the seafood... cannelloni. It has a very unique sauce that I would like to buy! Their outside seating is very romantic. They also have anoutside bar menu for more traditional food like burgers and fries with TVs for watching sports. Read more
I?d like to start this review off with the positives. The service was pretty great, our server was kind and they quickly seated... us. We got to chose our position within the restaurant which was very appreciated. Within 4-5 minutes our drink order was taken,I got the vanilla Italian soda (there was no option for cream) and my date got the mango mixed with peach. They didn?t have anymango so she had to wait around 15 minutes to get the other flavoring. The drinks were ok, there could?ve been more syrup as itwasn?t the best but it really just needed cream. The horror of this story comes at this point. We start looking at the menu. Iknew the food would be disappointing when they only used Italian on the menu for the names of the dishes. Usually a competentItalian restaurant wants people to try their most comped dishes meaning they?ll make them easy to pronounce. We chose theBruschetta for our antipasti. The bread was toasted on one side and there was way too much tomato. They didn?t flavor the pileof tomatoes on top Of the bread so it was just garlic, a pile of unripe tomatoes, and poorly toasted bread. For our entree wechose the Filet Magnon Cannoli. Let me just say this, the meat was basically cat food. It had the consistency of tuna and tastedlike mystery meat. The pasta was obviously from a package, no freshness in either the texture nor the taste. Overalldisappointing? The one plus to this place is the atmosphere and the service. It?s both quick and comfortable. Read more
The wait was horrendous. It took almost 30 minutes to get our order in. I'm still giving five stars because they all were... hustling and just to many patrons and not enough staff. The food was excellent I cam back two times in the same week to get theCiopino. Came back a third time and had their lasagna. It was excellent!!! If in the area again will make this stop. Greatfood, good service, good atmosphere. Read more
