I had a steak entree and it was cooked perfectly medium rare. Very good food , will be back.

I went for an early dinner yesterday around 4pm. Let me say this used to be one of my favorite restaurants. I hadn't been there... in about two years. I was soooo disappointed!!! I ordered one of my favorite menu items Pollo Fundido. The shredded chicken wasvery dry and tough, to the point I was not able to eat it!! I alerted my server Jennifer, who by the way was very professionaland helpful. I had ordered rice and beans as well. I asked Jennifer for a plate so I could remove the fundido from my plate andthen ordered steak tacos. When I received my bill I noticed the pollo fundido had not been removed from my bill, $10.50. I spokewith a man who I'm guessing was a manager. He told me he would have to refund me in cash but only would return $5.50 because Ihad kept the beans and rice!! I agreed to this nonsense as I was not in the mood to argue. I'll just say again that I'mdisappointed. It's very unlikely that I will be eating here again!! Read more

Ordered online. Had to pay for chips and salsa, no big deal, even though I could get em free if I sat down. But when I saw the... tiniest thing of salsa I asked for another and he said I'd have to pay extra. Extra? For something that I would get free if Isat down? It's already less than what would be in the bowl at the table. Also 1 of the 3 styrofoam boxes was from long Johnsilver's, I don't know what that's about. I was out with some friends and they suggested this place - a great recommendation! The waitress was both friendly and... knowledgeable, providing suggestions and insight regarding the menu choices. My test for a new Mexican restaurant is always thehard shell beef taco, and this one did not disappoint. It wasn't the best I've ever eaten, but certainly something that I didn'thave to choke down. The other dish that I sampled, called the Tex Mex - steak shrimp and chicken over rice with cheese sauceover it all - was excellent, and I stuffed myself finishing every last bite. The chips were nice and fresh and there were twokinds of salsa offered - a mild and a hot, the hot being only mildly spicy... just perfect for flavor without having to grab afire extinguisher! Highly recommended, and next time I'm in Belton South Carolina, I'll definitely be eating here! Read more
