Tried this restaurant for the first time tonight. Great atmosphere, friendly staff. My husband ordered the fresh catch of the... day which was snapper. He asked that they blacken the outside of the fish and was easily accommodated! His fish was amazing!!!!The lemon roasted potatoes were so good, as well. I had the beef souvlaki and was very pleased. The chef deserves kudos for anexcellent dining experience. Next time I plan on getting the zucchini chips ???? Well done! Read more
The food we received was very good but some of the portions were very small. $13 for 2 lamb meatballs that were as small or... smaller than a golf ball?? The lamb meatball with fettuccine meal included only 3. We also ordered the app with the 3 spreadsthat were $16 and came with maybe 8 pita points which ran out then were charged $2.50 for 5 or so more. The rotisserie chickenwas $21 for a half chicken and were very good. Others ordered pasta dishes and were good and filling but certainly not plentifulfor the cost. Wait staff was great as well, but 2 apps and only 2 soft drinks ended up over $150 for 5 people and the only leftovers were the dark quarter of the chicken. Read more
We?ve come here frequently I?ve the past few years and it?s consistently good. The service is great - Peter has been our server... often and always remember us AND my bar order. My kid is obsessed with the avgolemono soup and then gets Alfredo to fill hishollow leg. Tonight we had the Queen?s Feast - tzatziki dip, salmon entree and a huge slab of baklava. Beyond delightful! Words cannot express how exquisite everything was! Angelo was our server and he gave us recommendations on... what to order and i do NOT regret that one bit! We had grilled octopus and Athenian salad for appetizers which is an amazingcombination. As entré we had the house special which was beef rib eye with sweet potatoes and green beans and pork rib eye withthe same sides. When I say I have never tried a pork rib eye that is as soft and juicy as this one is because last nights dinnerblew my mind! Jonathan definitely has a special touch when cooking! The team is very friendly and pleasant. I really enjoyedthe Mediterranean vibe and music. I will definitely be back with the rest of my family! While the quality of food was good, we just weren?t impressed with it. The gyro platter with steak was $20 and only came with... one single slice of tomato, a few pieces of red onion, and two pieces of pita. The other dish we got was the souvlaki skewersand the only thing we were surprised about was that it wasn?t actually skewers. Our second visit to Estia's and both times have been a 5-star experience. The feta fries and spicy feta with chips are fantastic... appetizers. My wife loves the salad with salmon, and I had the veggie wrap with fries...healthy and tasty! A very popular spoton a weekend night, with a modern bar and a semi private room for big parties. A great place for delicious Greek food. Everything we ordered was really good; Octopus and Zucchini being the highlights. Prompt... service and a decent price makes this place a must try if you are in the area and looking to try something different. Read more
The service and atmosphere is dynamic. Background music, authentic. Decor reminiscent of a warehouse, but spotless. Drinks...... My Old fashioned lacked a cherry, but made up for it in Bourbon. Her Margarita was mixed perfectly. The food ? My Atheniansalad was amazing without any extra seasoning. Her Shrimp was so good, we got one to go. Entrées... TRY THE LAMB CHOPS!!
