A simple 'mom n pop' restaurant serving the most authentic Greek delicacies. Do try their Tsatziki - it is simply the best with... homemade pita! I tried the lamb with roasted veggies and it was delicious. The lamb burger is the restaurant recommended dish,it looks like. Saw a lot of people ordering it. The ambience is very casual with indoor and outdoor seating. The staff arevery friendly and make the dish to your preference. Pricing is moderate and there is limited parking available. Really disappointed after all the rave reviews. Food was ok after finally getting it, but I waited almost an hr in the parking... lot for take out. Not worth it Went like this: -Ordered, supposed to be ready in 20 min -Show up after 20 min after ordering, ~dozen people waiting outside, ok not ready -After 15 min waiting I asked someone, "You'll get a text when it's ready" shesaid -After 30 min or waiting I ask again, turns out they ran out of lamb. Said they called me.... Check my phone, nope no call.Fine, give me the souvlaki. Lamb is more expensive, no offer to refund the difference. I mention it, they pretend not to hearme. -After 45 min still nothing, ask again, it's coming they said -After 60 min finally I get a text, it's ready. Get home andthey gave me a chicken breast, not souvlaki. No dressing for the salad. Was hoping to like this place, but I won't be back. Read more
This is probably the greatest brunch in Boston and I am torn whether to post: There is no alcohol, it?s not that kind of... brunch. There are no 20-somethings cackling and instagramming their food. It isn?t a cool location or fancy looking. So whyis it great? You can?t make an omelette this good. You can?t get the crispy + soft texture on hash browned potatoes. I often measure a restaurant on how they make a basic salad, and this place, wow, they made a near perfect yet simple Greek... salad ($10.95). The feta was so fresh and soft that it was presented as a small scoop rather than crumbles. The tomatoes lookedlike heirloom ones, and were delicious. I ordered the 1/2 salad with spinach pie, which was AMAZING. The pastry was so flaky andthe spinach with feta cheese was so flavorful. Considering inflation, I'm rather shocked that George is able to keep the pricesrelatively low. My friend ordered pancakes and bacon (!) as they were kind enough to make it for her even though it was after11am, and they looked so good. In fact my friend told me (and them) that she drives all the way from Roxbury to just get theirpancakes. They have no seating inside so it's ordering inside then take it home or enjoy the food at one of their smalloutdoor tables (about 4) with umbrellas for plenty of shade. Since the heat and humidity finally broke, we decided to eatoutdoors at one of their tables, and never felt rushed to leave. If sitting outside, they bring your food to you but know that'sin disposable boxes with plastic cutlery. For me, this is the only drawback yet I understand why it's the case considering thatit's really mostly a takeout place. Read more
Life is suffering- Jordan Peterson! Wouldn't you want to eat your order with this view????? Nope! Suffer a bit... Got out of... the gym, hungry like a an elephant. My other kitchen rings a bell in my mind, checking the distance, it shows 20 minutes, myother kitchen is closing in 20mins. Call them, place my order, driving there, I am the last happiest customer. Got my food! NowI need to get to Mystic lakes in 16 minutes before sunset. Get there, park my car, get my food out, and........... booooom noplastics???????????????????? what is the motto of this story???? Just ask your server whether they put a plastics into a bag ornot, if you dont wanna suffer like me. Anyway, it took me 30 more minutes to enjoy my food. Read more
Great restaurant. Hands down the best Greek in town, maybe in the whole state. Their ingredients are always fresh and. Meals... made from scratch every single day, you'll never get disappointed. Highly recommend if you're into a traditional Greekexperience. Read more
If anyone is in the mood for Greek then My Other Kitchen is a must! I have to say, the quality of the food is above par for what... you pay and the staff are very friendly. It has a trendy ?indoor food truck?, vibe with the sounds and amazing smells of cookedfood so close to you. The quality and taste is a reflection of the love and hard work George and his team put into every meal.The place is super clean (restroom too), even though it?s packed and busy.
