I would give it 3 and a half stars if I could.They have a really nice decorated outside seating area decorated with bikes and... lanterns. The Mexican street bites are really good definitely should try those if you like corn their delicious. The pork molenachos are pretty fire as well. The wings are super good. I've had the general TSO and their buffalo wings which are super good.They have that charred/grilled/smoked taste to them. The buffalo wings aren't super spicy pretty mild it's a delicious saucewith a hint of spicy. However their loaded fries with the spicy queso and what appears to be chilli flakes are SPICY practicallyinedible they were good but it was almost painful to keep taking bites. It definitely needed to be dialed back a couple notches.They have flautas which is just one big roll which I think should be mentioned because most of the time they're small rolled uptortillas that are fried and stuffed. It's good but not what I expected.Over the years it has gone down a lot it isn't as goodas it used to be. Plus it's also more expensive. Read more
The burritos and tacos here are a bit less Mexican and more Americanized. Good food, but if you're looking for that authentic... Mexican cuisine feel, you might want to step away. I had some great late night black bean soup and flour less chocolate cake after a Belmar Arts Center music function nearby. Both... were delish! Would go back just for that again. Not a fan of their tortilla chips but the sugary dessert they make with themchanges everything. Read more
It's a very lively place. Food was better than average and there were good number of vegetarian options there as well. Cheese... and very deep fried oil dripping chips were what could be improved from my perspective but I know some people looks forward tothe extra cheese and oil so it can be a positive as well. Servers were friendly and relative quick for how busy it looked.Overall very positive experience from ambiance and food felt little overpriced for what it was but still good, now I know how toorder better to my liking. Simple menu with a Mexican style. Super Chill hang-out place. The indoor bar is a great place to day drink. Great people... watching. Very reasonably priced drinks and food. Type of place if you over-tip your bartender you will get your 5th drink free.Don't expect gourmet food. Except good vibes and free-flowing drinks.Lots of cool art produced by local artists. Our first time trying this place and we were ultimately unimpressed. The only saving Grace was the street corn, really good. I... ordered the brisket taco dinner and it was disgusting, flavorless, and watery. The brisket tasted like boiled meat. The rice andbeans pretty much tasted like water no flavor again. My husband ordered the brisket burrito again flavorless, no sauce, and wereceived no chips. Why ask what type of salsa you want and then not give me chips.
