I'm very sorry to do this because I am a young black man and I understand the importance of black business. I have tried to... support this business so thoroughly. I've ordered from here on 4 occasions and there's always a mishap. My very last one Iordered food and was told 25 minutes until my order was ready. I arrived about an hour after I called due to traffic, as iarrived they said that's the young man who called for the fish and asked me to wait an additional 15 minutes. As me and my sonWait in the car hungry for about 25 minutes finally someone comes out and says they have no more of the fish I ordered almost 2hours later. I was given a 50 dollar gift card/receipt. It's been a month since and I can never get through and the receipt hasfaded away. I've even left tithes and offering one day. I'm highly disappointed. I was so disappointed with the food. I decided to pick this based off the great reviews. First , I waited a whole hour to get my... food so that alone turned me off. We get the food and the food was not seasoned AT ALL. The candied yams was not tasty. Thechicken was okay but the bread was just a sliced bread . It was soggy. The Atlantic salmon was burnt and dry. I was given gritswith soggy veggies that I didn?t ask for. The grits were way to runny with no season. Everything that I ordered was notadvertised. Just had this tonight. We had the shrimp, chicken and waffles, and mac and cheese. Great food! Looking forward to ordering... again; we're going to try the yams and grits next. The only thing I don't understand is why we couldn't order via door dash,because we're only about a mile or so away. Hopefully the issue is fixed soon. Read more
Found this place on Google. Good places to eat that's all I searched lol. Got two fried Whiting combos with mac and cheese,... potato salad and creamy grits. It was so delicious, her timing is great and I will definitely be going back there! That mac andcheese is amazing. The only thing I would say is i wish the sides were just a scoop bigger for the price. This evening was my first time ordering and it was unbelievably delicious. I had the fried whiting and shrimp combo with potato... salad, collard greens, sweet potatoes and Mac and cheese. It was like having Sunday dinner at Grandmas. It was delivered byDoorDash and got to me in a timely manner. It?s wonderful to have authentic soul food in this area. Definitely a repeatcustomer. When her menu says made with love yes this food is made with love! I ordered the Salmon with her house sauce with the grilled... veggies ( I paid extra for veggies) and sooo worth it!! The Salmon was cooked to perfection!! I don?t know how she got thatcrisp on the bottom but WOW!!! Sooo good!! I will definitely be ordering from her again. You will not be disappointed ! Read more
Our complex used Chara's Kitchen to cater our Labor Day BBQ and it was great!!! Very professional and the food was incredibly... delicious. We were pleasantly surprised with all the great food. Would highly recommend them. Read more
