Definately agree with the majority of reviews. Good food, fast and courteous staff. I had the smoked turkey sandwich, at first I... was a little bit leary since it had sauce on it (I generally don\'t care for sauce) but it turned out to add a little bit ofsweetness and enhanced the flavor. This place has got the best bbq in Waco. Got the brisket sandwich and it was piled high with tender juicy brisket. The Texas... Bucket List needs to stop in this cool place. Old records on the wall from some of the greats from back in the day. Big Wardknows how to make some great brisket. Read more
Saturday noon the bbq should?ve been perfect. The three meat plate consisted of a rib, about four sausage slices and a half cup... of cold greasy chopped brisket.\nThe rib tasted very suspect. I worried I was gonna end up with food poisoning. I took a biteof the chopped brisket and a sausage slice. Just plain lazy. Costs rising etc whatever. Charge more. Or if you won?t charge moreat least make what you do serve worth the buy. This couldn?t be called bbq in Vermont let alone Texas. All those friends andfamily leaving reviews aren?t gonna help this place survive. Shame. Place like this could be amazing with a little pride andeffort. Read more
Wonderful food! Quick service! I ordered 3 one-meat brisket plates, with green beans and pinto beans on one, potato salad and... mac&cheese on the other 2. Brisket was fall-apart tender! Both beans had a slight sweetness which really enhanced the flavor. Mac&cheese was made from scratch. Potato salad was slightly sweet with a light touch of dill. There was a discount for cash. This was my first visit and the cashier was warm and welcoming to me. We will be back! Read more

Absolutely wonderful brisket and ribs! I even loved the sweetness of the potatoe salad and beans. The staff were friendly and... attentive. The food was soo good it put me to sleep! I have been asleep for 4 hours! Lol Def will be back!! Go give them a try! Read more
