There was a long wait to eat inside, but there was no wait for outside dining. They had a great closed in area with a fire... table, so it didn't even feel that cold, and it felt like we had our own private eating area. The service was great and ourserver was really helpful in giving us great recommendations that did not disappoint. The Brussels sprouts were delectable andthe pizza that was on their feature menu was absolutely delicious. The drinks were great as well. This will definitely be aplace I visit whenever I'm in Bellingham. It is also really close to the Mt Baker theatre, so it's a great dinner spot before ashow. Read more

Unbelievable service. Server started out nice but when we didn't order alcoholic drinks after asking to sample what was on tap,... she ignored us. Food took forever and had another server casually say oh they made the wrong pasta... No apology, no nothingafter almost 30+ mins of waiting. My cucumber drink also took about 10 mins to arrive. Place was not busy and at the end theserver was pushing the machine at me while I was trying to help my husband pack up his pizza. They didn't even give him a properpizza box and we had to ask for one. Can you believe the first thing I see on the machine is 30% tip?! Haha should have been-30% for the time and straight pain of being here... Would rather spend.$10 for some yummy pellmini! Read more

The food was great! We came for a dinner and there almost no free tables. The wait could have been shorter (especially when you... are super hungry), but it was understandable due to full house:) would be great to have a tiny appetizer like bread+butter whileyou wait for the food, but even with the wait I give it 5 stars. Dinner for four @ Storia Cucina was good, not great! Our server was terrific, don?t get me wrong, just the food was a bit... disappointing. The Caprese Tigelle was terrific, especially for four bucks at HH, but the Homemade Focaccia was a hugedisappointment. My experience with focaccia in the past has been one of a lighter color, airy texture, and made forbalsamic/olive oil dipping. What I encountered @ Storia was a very dense, grey in color (almost non-appetizing) ?heavy? breadthat simply should have been a meal in itself, it was just tooooooo heavy. The meatballs were tasty and the pizza was ok, I justwish this would have been a 5 Star experience, (for a meal costing $185.00 for four) it wasn?t unfortunately. Read more

The best Italian in downtown Bellingham! Great ambience inside and covered patio seating outside. We had no wait on a Friday... evening for dinner. Our appetizer that was Cicotti Meatballs, which were delicious. Cooked perfectly! The cocktails were bothamazing, The Jungle Bird (pineapple rum/hibiscus/Campari) and a Portofino (gin). The service was consistent and friendly. Wewere able to order and place orders within a reasonable amount of time. Our main dishes tasted great! The LUMACHE POMODORO, wasvery tasty and the ricotta on top was the best part. The pasta had a slight spice from the pepper, but not unmanageable. Mypartner ordered the CACIO E PEPE, which was delicious. By the time dessert time rolled around we were full, but the tiramisulooked bomb! We will definitely be back. They also have brunch! Everything we ordered was delicious, bursting with flavor! The pepperoni pizza was amazing, and the rosemary focaccia bread was... so good, especially with the buratta. The best was the pasta, with creamy ricotta in the middle to balance out the strongparmesan cheese sprinkled on top of the fresh-made pasta and tomato sauce. Everything was perfection, but we didn?t even haveroom for dessert! We were stuffed. 10/10 will come again. Read more

First time visiting here. We ordered brussel sprouts and they were delicious. I normally don't like them cooked because they are... always overcooked. These were al dente but had a great crispy outter layer. The sauce was perfectly seasoned. I also had a smalllake Caeser salad. We shared margherita pizza and papperdelle Bolognese. Pasta was great except the meat sauce was a little onthe salty side. Pizza has a nice thin crust. Flavor was good. I highly recommend this place! Read more

No other Italian place I've eaten holds a candle to this place. Exceptionally presented and it tastes even better. My whole... party agreed. Very fair prices too -- better quality food than Olive Garden by miles for LESS. Drinks are very pricy though.Yeah, you gotta eat here. Read more
