Do not go here if you have are gluten intolerant/celiac. I read of the menu carefully and chose the kind of vegan sushi I always... get at sushi restaurants, to find out after I got home that not only was the tofu battered in something that was not listed, thewhole roll was completely covered in soy sauce. I have never been to a sushi place where they've covered the sushi in soy sauceand not just given it to you on the side. Needless to say, I couldn't eat the sushi that wasn't cheap. They also messed up myfriend's order and ended up charging her for a hand roll she didn't even order. They at least gave her the additional roll theycharged her for, but the bill ended up much higher than expected due to this error. Read more

Despite reading the menu VERY carefully, the item I ordered did not say anything about having any sauce on it. Get back home... with it, and it's COVERED in the exact kind of spicy sauce, that I hate the flavor of. On top of that, I asked if sauce, andsticks were in the bag, and was assured their was. Get home, one set of chop sticks for two people, and no soy sauce at all. Ifdining in was an option, that's what we would have done, and these things could have been corrected on the spot. But despite itbeing a full year since COVID mandates, they're take out only. I'm never coming back. Read more

Very nice, very helpful. I do not eat sushi, I order for my wife occasionally. The server was super nice, very informative (... since I don't eat sushi, I don't know what I'm ordering). At any rate the food was timely, portions were generous, and theatmosphere was great! Very recommended. Read more

This is definitely one of the best sushi restaurants in Bellingham. Always have super fresh fish and generous portions. Also... fantastic veggie and vegan options. Id recommend the tempura yam roll or the sushi and sashimi plate. Will definitely be goingback again and again. Read more

Stopped in for lunch and had a great meal. Nice lunch specials on the menu. Ordered a spicy tuna roll and tempura eel roll with... a side miso soup. Sat right at the bar and was given prompt and friendly service. The food was fresh, flavorful, and pretty.Understated and comfortable ambiance. Will definitely return. Read more

Seiji is an impeccable chef here with astounding people skills. We came in brand new customers and left feeling like regulars.... The quality of sushi here is top notch! Very good Sushi and a very large selection of rolls. Prices are comparable to good sushi elsewhere. I had the Salmon slammer and... it was good, but, i could barely taste any spiciness. A let down for me, but a pleasant one. Read more
