I go to a Peking Gourmet Restaurant back in California since I was born and I would recommend that restaurant to anyone. I... cannot come back to this establishment. First and last time I'm here. I ordered Mabo tofu and it's bland and the tofu is firm(though fresh it may be), it seems like the tofu used was the hardest possible. The rice has to be ordered and doesn't come withthe meal even if it's a dinner menu. (Came after 3pm). The rice is sticky rice that is so hard and stale, that for a KoreanChinese establishment, one would think the rice is old. I also ordered Jja Jang Myun and the noodles were hard. Not thoroughlycooked and came out so fast, I almost thought it might have been someone else's order that was cancelled. For a Korean personmyself, this sickens me thinking of the customers who come here to eat. I ordered the normal one and there was so little pork init (maybe 3-5 pieces I saw and ate). The sauce was the right texture without the flavor and just salty. Fresh onions are theonly plus? My girlfriend ordered the Szechuan noodles and it's not spicy?? I don't get it. It said it was made from handmadenoodles but has the same texture of the noodles for the Jja Jand Myun, that it is not hand made?? Seemed just filled withvegetables and practically no meat again. Sounds like a broken record? The kimchi that came out was not a nice sour flavor andthe onions and radish did not taste fresh in any way. Hard to tell with the radish since it's the yellow one. The tea was hotand smooth when cooled. Bathrooms are clean. I don't like writing negative reviews because it just seems like a rant. Iapologize to those I have affected negatively through this review but I would not recommend this establishment to my friends, family, extended family, and anyone who asks. Read more

Bad sweet sour pork - a lot of artificial colors!! ??? ????. (Even panda express is better). Also, their Korean Jjajang noodles... are bad. Noodle texture is hard like instant spaghetti noodles. Read more

If you come in expecting Korean Chinese cuisine, THIS AIN?T IT. I?ve come here on multiple occasions during the past 6 years... and I can say with confidence that their food has progressively gotten worse to the point where I?m writing this review afterthrowing out their food. I got their Jjajang noodle and Champon for to-go. The food was relatively warm when I picked them up,but I felt like they?ve been sitting at the counter for a while because I came early for pick up (I scheduled pick up at 5pm)and the food was already ready. I live close to the restaurant maybe 10 minutes away. When I got home, the noodles were alreadycold and stodgy and I had to microwave the food for 2-3 minutes just to get them warm. Jjajang noodles weren?t the best I hadbut still edible. Champon was not. The soup was bland, lacking in flavor and it wasn?t as thick as it should have been. I triedto dip in the noodles back into the soup just to get more flavor (and even that couldn?t save it) because the first bite Ididn?t get anything, except for floury taste of the noodles. There?s no spice, not enough seafood, just no flavor in general. The noodles were not great either- not chewy and carries zero flavor. I?m never the person to throw away or waste food, but Ijust couldn?t eat these even though I felt really bad about throwing them out. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. Idon?t know what they?re doing wrong, but they?re making really bland, awful food that feels like they?re being cheapingredient-wise and no further thoughts or care have been put into producing the food. We like this Korean Chinese restaurant, Peiking (and ? ?? in Korean). We had tofu, eggplant, black bean noodles (all for... vegetarians) and chicken dishes. So good! Sumptuous, delicious, and large portions. Not so oily as typical Peiking dishes -perfectly good for us! Very friendly service Read more
