Before you go to Gyu Kaku, upload their app and sign up for rewards program. First giving you 100 points for sign-up. You can... get additional 50 points by their FB sign-up. Also $10 off when you spend $30. I'm highly recommend you to earn rewards point toredeem many choices of meals. We had a reservation on Sat 5:15pm for 3. We arrived at the restaurant 15 mins earlier, butimmediately took a seat. We ordered course for 4 people instead of 3. This course includes 4x miso soup, spicy Tunavoccano,Gyu-sushi 4pcs, Gyu-kaku salad, Napa Kimchee, edamame, Japanese chicken Karaage, chicken garlic noodles, bistro hungerstake, yaki shabu beef, filet mignon, karubi chunk rib, New York stake, premium sirloin, umakara ribeye, umakara pork, chickenbrest, shrimp garlic...etc. They will tell you how many seconds to grill the meat. There were too many items to put on thetable. I was busy grilling the meat and served. Meat began to sticked the grill and making it difficult to cook. The marinatedmeat was scorched and bitter and could not be eaten. The three sauces on the table felt thin and unsatisfactory for us. However,Gyu Kaku is popular Japanese BBQ place. I will be back here to try something else next time. Read more

Gyu-Kaku is a really fun dining experience. If you’re looking for both a fun dining and social experience — I definitely... recommend coming here. All the ingredients (yes including the vegetables) taste amazing. I went with one other friend and weboth agreed that the Chef’s Choice (for 2) served the perfect amount of food that left us feeling not too overly full! Theonly reason why I’m taking one star off is due to how long it took for the staff to take our order after being seated (~20mins+). It happens though as the restaurant was full and busy, and there’s only so many employees. I still would come again! Read more

Cleanliness : 8/10 Food Quality : 10/10 Staff Friendliness : 10/10 Food quality to price value : 8/10 Food here is great... especially if you can make it to the 3-8 PM Happy Hour. You will leave full and satisfied with any of the combination sets for2-4 people. The sauces here are one of the best I've come across in WA as well. Read more

Staff is super friendly but I feel bad for them because many times the store seems understaffed- but they keep their smiles... on! Food is super delicious, we dined in last week and yesterday ordered to go. Their raw meat platter to cook at home…. Yum!Highly recommended! I can’t tell which meat was which because i didn’t keep track but each you can taste a differentmarinade and the meats have different textures Read more

We visited Gyu-Kaku almost weekly. It's quite popular here! So you'd better reserve a table before coming in. Based on our... previous 10+ visit here, we highly recommend beef, pork, and shrimp. Among beef, we recommed New York Steak, Angus Beef Rib, andHarami Skirt Steak. They provide grill guide for different food on the table. They serve 3 different kinds of sauce and each oneis gluten-free and great taste! They also have multiple choices for desserts. The most unique one is S'mores. You will grill themarshmallow and put it with chocolate between cookies. The high temp of marshmallow will melt the chocolate. For me, the dessertis over sweet. But the process is quite magical. If you have not tried it before, you may want to have a try. Read more

A little on the pricier side but great experience for friends and family :) we ordered the yakiniku bbq course for 4 people and... it was very filling. There was a great variety of meat with miso, sweet soy tare, garlic, herbs, salt & pepper marinade and alsoprecooked dishes. Personal favorites were the Japanese chicken karaage, kalbi chuck rib, and umakara pork. We also ordered thein-house sake and the lychee gin mojito, both paired nicely with the flavors of the bbq :) great atmosphere and service as well. Read more
