Amazing fries & milkshake. Burger was okay. Would return, so glad they pay their workers a living wage.
I'm going to miss this place when I leave Seattle. This is one of those places that are a Hallmark to the state. Unbelievably... cheap prices, simple menu, and the fastest service you'll ever get. On top of that, you're doing good by going here than anyother fast food place because this one actually compensates it's employees fairly. Don't let any corporate franchise take yourmoney. Wow! I love Dick?s burgers but let me tell you??.This location SUCKS! Every time I?ve come here, about 5 times! The burgers have... been thrown together, soggy/wilted lettuce/chunks of lettuce on the burgers, and poor customer service/rude employees, soggyburgers! I think this location needs a facelift or more staff hired! These folks don?t have smiles on their faces! They lookmiserable! Dick?s Drive-In has been a Seattle institution since 1954. It has a unique business model where they offer burgers at extremely... low prices while giving its employees a wide range of benefits. To do this they depend on two things. One is volume. Supposedlythey?ve said they?d rather make 2-cents on 100 burgers than a dollar on one burger. The other thing is a very small menu withalmost no modifications (you can get fries without salt, but I don?t know if anything else is allowed). Every burger is welldone and with the condiments shown on the menu. If you want other condiments, Dick?s has a small list (onions, ketchup, andtarter sauce) they sell for a small price. These condiments come in a plastic cup, and you?re expected to add them yourself. Thefries are fresh cut and usually hot and they have a limited selection of drinks. In addition to the expected cola, many peoplelike their milkshakes (they?re okay, but not a favorite of mine). Someone called Dick?s a hangout for the rich and cool, andBill Gates has been spotted at Dick?s, late at night and waiting in line (the service is usually very fast), apparently relivinga tasty part of his childhood.
