This used to be one of our favorite spots in Bellevue, but sadly the new dinner menu is truly abysmal. I ordered the lamb which... was not modestly priced, expecting rack of lamb chops, and received a shoulder blade chop which was unbecoming of the price andtruly difficult to eat. We ordered a cheese plate and were served whole forms of cheese unprepared, just chunks of hard cheesewith the inedible rinds attached. Truly amateurish and overpriced. The second star is for the wine selection which remainssolid, and the obvious concern for our satisfaction demonstrated by the obviously anxious and concerned manager. IMHO, I'd shutdown dinner for a few weeks to re-staff and redevelop the menu. The former menu was excellent, especially the rabbit gnocchi. Sad to see another good Bellevue restaurant so greatly diminished in quality while demanding unwarrantedly high prices. Bellevue tax at its finest. Extremely disappointing. Two thumbs down. Dropped over $220 (including tip) here on 2 entrees an appetizer and 3 glasses of wine. I’m ok with that price point for the... right experience. In this case, the food was very dry/bland. My recommendation: Come here for wine and cheese. Don’t stay fordinner. Read more

I was introduced to Cépaé by my friends today. The pastries and tea are simply amazing, but I am more obsessed with the bears... in this place. I know they're just stuffed animals, but who can't resist sitting next to a stuffed bear in this cute place? Theservice is great, staff is very friendly and super patient. I ordered the blueberry pastry and it was delicious. There wasn't alot left considering it was an hour before closing so I may stop by again in the future. Read more

Great coffee and pastries. The wine bar and Parisian cafe share the space. Saturday night and there is a great band playing... French jazz. We will stay to try the Happy Hour menu at 9pm. Read more

One of the coolest new places around!! Cépaé International Tasting Room is a tip of the hat to Woodinville’s beautiful... wineries; they offer a selection (growing weekly it seems) of some of the greatest wine producers the world has. Their uniqueconcept offers EVERY wine by ‘tasting’ size (0.5oz) and ‘glass’ size (5oz); ranging from a few dollars for a taste to99$ for a glass of Echezeaux Grand Cru or Chateau Calon Segur ‘10. In addition they offer all the bottles by retail at amazingprices. Attached to the ‘tasting room’ is the amazing La Parisienne Bakery. They have an amazing menu that lines up to winepairings but also showcases an authentic French menu that anyone can learn and enjoy. I’d recommend to anyone that loves thedifferent cultures of the world; but even more so to those that are learning about wine, Cépaé will let you try tons of newworld and old world wines. Let them know your industry!! Read more

My wife and I's visit to Cepae was a terrific experience! We decided to sit at the bar during happy hour. My wife tried a flight... of 3 different white wines and I decided to try a flight of 3 different red wines plus adding in their happy hour wine on theirmenu. You can pretty much try any wine they have available for a very affordable price, especially being in Downtown Bellevue! Most of the wines you're able to "taste" for between $2.00 and $3.00 from what I could remember. Their happy hour menu was quitetasty as well as we chose to get a little tasting place of cheeses, meats, and other hors d'oeuvres...bread with butter wasyummy too! The service is top notch, their sommelier, who served us was very knowledgeable and made our experience evenbetter. On a nice day, you're able to sit outside. They even serve coffee from Victrola Coffee Roasters, sell French pastriesand other products, and you can purchase unique wines that you're unable to find in most of the big box retailers since theyhave a direct relationship with the manufacturers. We will definitely go back to Cepae and try some other wines. This placetrumps the other wine spots imho... Enjoy! Read more

What amazing patisserie and wine bar so close to the office. I have to say the wine menu is extensive and inclusive of almost... all price points. There's also room to sit and chat on the patio. I love the ambience here and will be back! Read more
