Yuca's opening week has gone wonderfully and I look forward to returning. We had four in our group sampling most of the menu,... and we found that everything was spiced extremely well with great balance and taste. Poutine???? strawberry jalapeno paloma????four amigos????yuca toast???? fat zach???? big bad wolf???? Jalisco espresso???????????? if I had to add one retractor it's thatYuca can be a little salt heavy. I love salt but others at our table weren't huge fans but it was easy to knock off chips oravoid rims. Read more

This place has COMPLETELY lost control of their food quality. Today I was served mystery meat on an overpriced and tiny sandwich... and it was not even edible. I brought my parents here for the first time and was so disappointed because I had enjoyed dininghere in the past.. The worst part was that it took 40 minutes to reciece our food. We had to send the food back and when wedid, there was a line of angry customers who had been served the same un-edible sandwich with mystery meat. They refundedeveryone's meal but should be ashamed they served it in the first place. It seemed as though there was no one that was qualifiedto be a manager working at the time. 2 stars only because this place is beautiful and could be such a community asset if itgets its act together :( Read more

no star is more like it. we live on the street where this place is located. this business has parking blocked for the residents... who live on the street by having lanes blocked. the outside seating barely has any one ever out using it. the food was averagecooking. cheap decorations. you can get better coffee at UDF and better drinks at any hole in the wall bar. This is my favorite coffee shop/bar in NKY!! Let me first say, the ambiance is spot on. The decor, high ceilings, nice... furniture and trendy accents come together to create a whole vibe. I believe there will be a rooftop addition too which trulywill make this the best local spot. The happy hour is M-F from 4-6 and all day Sunday and offers $2 off craft cocktails, glasses of wine and boozy bags (not sure what this is but definitely will eventually find out), $1 off beer & 1/2 price bottlesof wine. The use Coffee Emporium beans for the coffee and have dairy free options (I get oat milk, not sure of the others). Their drinks are super reasonably priced and are delicious. Right now they are in the process of reopening and revamping theirkitchen so a whole new menu is on the way! Today my mom and I tried their pecan roll which was holy goodness good. It tastedlike it was made with sourdough but overall, not too sweet, great mix of flavor, super doughey. We also had the Gluten Freesalted caramel & lemon muffins and.... yes. They also are bringing in vegan offerings as well as adding lunch items to theirmenu. I'm local to the neighborhood, so I'm super partial to the continued success of this place, but I have gone all overCincy in search of the best coffee shop and I am just tickled that I can objectively say my favorite one is in my backyard! Light and airy space with lots of seating. Old bank building it seems, however, not grimy or old at all! The front is like a... deli counter, however, there is a bar and seating further back. So far the food has been amazing. I had the cubano with greenswhich was very generous portion-wise and the flavor balance was delish. My friend had some of the side salads including thequinoa, potato salad, and then the best thing we had: the curried cauliflower. It was AMAZING. I should have really gotten someto go... There are TVs but they were all playing infomercials or similar -- kinda strange. Will be back for sure. Read more

One of my favorite morning coffee spots! Though they only have one takeout size, the flavor of the coffee more than makes up for... the lack of volume. The baristas are very friendly and quick to help. Even when busy, they keep you feeling that you?re apriority. Try the quiche - the best flakey crust I?ve ever had! And the gourmet donuts are sinful.
