Ran by teenagers, other people getting orders despite ordering after me. Out of italian ice and chocolate icecream? (put a... disclosure sign??) The 30 people in line behind me I feel bad for, sitting out in the heat whilst these unsupervised teenagegirls take forever. No dedicated window to receive orders, and they don't track who orders what so its a mess. + They chargeabsurd amounts holy. Surprised I haven't seen more bad ratings. Read more
My wife and I stopped by for ice cream. We waited a long time under the hot sun in a confused line where the people acted... scared to go up on the porch to order. I thought maybe it's because they have signs saying they will charge you $20 if you cutin line or are rude. Then I discovered it is because they don't have a place to order. They just holler out a window at you andyou never know if it is gonna be the right or left window. Then it is confusing what window your order will be coming out of.Finally it was our turn to order. They didn't have chocolate/ vanilla twist soft serve for some reason. That is what we camefor. So that was a disappointment. The hand dipped ice cream was good that I got instead. The strawberry milk shake wasn't verygood. I think it is probably made with some kind of modern flavor syrup that tastes artificial. Nothing like the good ones wegot when I was a kid. Read more
Prices were great, but the food was even better. Chili dogs were perfectly cooked, with generous amounts of cheese and chili... lathered on top. The variety of seasonings for the french fries was also a plus. I will definitely return! Read more
I grew up getting ice cream from this little stand, and it was always the best to be able to walk up grab a cheap cone and walk... back home. The sizes you get are cheap for how much they pile on. The food is good and the atmosphere is great. Cant wait tostart bringing my kids every summer for some dog house ice cream!! Read more
