I used to go to Firehouse Subs in Belleville multiple times per week as they are the only sub chain I enjoy. Food is amazing,... service is amazing as well. David is especially great and I remember my first few times ordering there he took the time toexplain everything to me as it can definitely be an overwhelming process to order. I appreciate all members of the staff andI?ve never had a bad order! Read more

Today I finally had time to pop in and try a firehouse sub. It was honestly was the BEST sub I've ever had...I had the turkey... bacon ranch on white, I did alter it a bit. I substituted the peppercorn ranch for Italian dressing. It was so fresh and warm, cheese was gooey...yum!! Definitely worth the wait to be made fresh. My hubby had the hook and ladder and I tried his aswell...melt in your mouth delicious!! The staff were very friendly and professional. I highly recommend trying this place. Read more

I ordered through Skip the Dishes. The subs were fantastic, really delicious. They were packaged well so they arrived fresh and... not soggy. I do think they're over priced - it's still just a sandwich. But that being said they were really good subs and Iwould order again if I wanted a really good sandwich. Read more

I have been eating at Firehouse for years and they don't disappoint. This new location in Belleville was of equal quality on... opening day, but we just had it again tonight and I'm updating my review to reflect the experience. They are by far thetastiest, most satisfying sub sandwiches I've ever had the pleasure of trying, but tonight the bun and meat were a little drycompared to what I'm used to and it makes a difference in the overall experience. The engineer and the beef and cheddar are myfavorites. I still highly recommend trying Firehouse, I'd choose them everytime over Subway, Mr.Sub etc., hoping tonight wasjust an off night. Read more

Blew my expectations through the roof. This place is brand new, extremely clean, very nice staff, very spacious area, and that's... not even getting to the food. The food is all real and fresh and you can see it being made, it tastes so good, and it's actuallyreally filling. It's not cheap, but it's fair priced. A bit over $10 a person for medium sized subs (25.something for 2), butthey're almost 1000 calories and are about 9 inches in length (medium). Very girthy too, I struggled fitting it all into mymouth. Honestly, this is a 10/10 place. The only thing that could be improved was the wait time to get your food, but it's notthat bad at all, and they were understaffed when I visited anyway, so I'd assume it would improve up to perfect when more peopleare working. Firehouse Subs is by FAR the BEST sub shop going right now. Compared to the rivals especially Subway, you get at least four... times the amount of meat and toppings. And, for not that much of a higher price point! I first tried Firehouse Subs a few yearsback before the pandemic when the one in Peterborough opened up. Right then and there, I knew that I had found what may be ahidden gem, a not-so-secret secret spot for what may be the best sandwich going. Unfortunately, due to shut downs, I had notencountered the joyous taste of Firehouse Subs in my mouth for three years now. Work brought me to Belleville, and Skip TheDishes kept me well fed throughout the pandemic when I was craving a little something special. But, something special wasmissing, missing from Belleville. That something special, was, Firehouse Subs. But Alas! My prayers had been answered and aFirehouse Subs opened in Belleville! Thank the heavens above! So one hungry night at the beginning of what would be a lengthy,12 hour night shift, I ordered a Firehouse sub! A large Italian on white, extra provolone, add chopped pickle, mushrooms, caramelized onions and hot sauce! I can honestly say, I don't recall ever having a better tasting sandwich my entire life! (Andif you can not tell, I am quite the foodie!) Thank god my writing skills are far superior to that of my photography skills, because the two photos that I attach with this review do not do Firehouse Subs justice! And, to the crew working and leadingthe new Belleville location, hats off to you! What a fantastic job! I can not wait to attend the restaurant in person andexperience first hand, what I'm sure is fantastic customer service and hospitality! Amazing job Firehouse Subs and FirehouseSubs Belleville location! I cannot recommend this establishment enough! - Tim Read more

First time taster but now I've been back 3x! Is it good? Definitely!!! Literally the "Arbys" of Subway-lots of meat, big soft... buns and great atmosphere. I've only had the turkey bacon ranch but my son loved the meatball sub. Read more

I have the same experience as the rest of the lack lustre reviews. 1: The service is very slow all around. The cashier seemed... like she didn?t know the system she was using and it took her about 5 minutes to get my order correct, for one steak and cheesesub with two drinks. Then I had to wait around 25-30 minutes before I got my food. There was a line of customers also waitingfrom before I ordered and after. It wasn?t like they were understaffed either. There was like 6-7 workers there including a manwho looked like the owner or manager. Lots of standing around and just a slow pace from everyone 2: I think I can say that wasthe driest, tasteless, sub I have ever had. The meat was dry and I don?t think they put sauce on it. It was not worth the over$20 price tag I paid. I couldn?t even finish the sub it was so bland. I have never had a Firehouse sub so I can?t compare toother locations.I was told from friend who have had it previous that I would not be disappointed and it was worth the price tag.But I will say from my experience that Subways basic cold cut subs are better all around from service to taste. 3: I know thislocation has just opened and they are still learning everything. I hope it can do well in Belleville because the location andfacility is very nice, it?s big and clean and an enjoyable environment for eating. Read more
