First let me start by saying I have been a loyal fan of Topaz for about 15 years. I love a Momma and the staff that worked... there. With that being said, I went today to pick up my lunch order since there is currently no dining and found myself at aloss for words when I saw the place. No warm greeting like before, place always looked homey. The atmosphere used to be soinviting. Now it looks like a regular Chinese restaurant. All the decor is gone no more family pictures like before. I asked thelady and she said it?s under new management. BUT, the food I ordered was really good and cannot complain about that. I willcontinue ordering from Topaz but I can?t say that a part of me feels we lost an amazing place. Read more
I like the food but not since after covid the shorting us on the food and raised the price. Fried rice dish depending on what... meat you want instead of giving us 4 shrimp we get two no. I ordered the seafood fried rice there's which is $20. There washardly no seafood in there just a lot of rice and two shrimp. For $20 that aint right just for a bowl of fried rice hardly noseafood. I'm big on hospitality. I didn't get a greeting, nothing after being in there for a few minutes. Someone who walked in minutes... after me was addressed and serviced immediately before I was even acknowledged at all. So I wasn't a fan of that. The soup wasok, it did what it needed at that time, but nothing to rave over. Personally I like buying where I feel comfort and that wasn'ta comfortable experience at all.
