Our first time actually eating in the restaurant, we've done takeout in the past and were amazed at how well it travels. Service... was good considering they were packed. Everything was delicious and cooked to order. Seasonal cocktails were a refreshingchange. Read more
The goat cheese fritters where amazing! 5/5 Lobster Bisque 4.5/5 very good. Could have used more lobster. Artichoke crusted... chicken 3.5/5. Chicken was a little rubbery but flavor was good. Not quite dry, but not exactly moist on the chicken. Very goodenvironment and good food. Would definitely try it again. Read more
So good we went two nights in a row for dinner on our recent visit! Lamb chops, pork chops, filet, shrimp , chicken-all served... hot and cooked to perfection. The greatest staff we have ever met (thanks Bailey and Cody) All of this with a very coolhistorical vibe. My family and I had dinner at The Back Porch to celebrate my wedding. We had an incredible time! The atmosphere is so romantic... and sweet. If you?re into history or historical homes, this is the place for you! The food was excellent, everyone enjoyed theirmeals. We even got a small wedding cake from the restaurant?s bakery and everyone kept saying how much they enjoyed it! Thestaff was so friendly and attentive. Our waiter was great, so sweet. I've never had a bad experience here. Great food and super friendly staff makes for a fantastic night out...minus kiddos. Took a... picture of the lobster bisque which was perfect. Also, the shrimp and grits were prepared to perfection. Enjoy!! Read more
