Worst meal ever. Very greasy. Fries were hard, stale and salty. Fish was flat, hard and dry. Everything was old. Not a hush... puppy in site. Ketchup dispenser was empty. And what kind of seafood place does not have cocktail sauce? Could have gone to thenearby Dollar store and got some. A good bit of staff, but tables were all dirty. Was coming to Belle Vernon from Pittsburgh and looking forward to long John's. Walked to the door, sign on the door states to... use the other door, except all doors were locked. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL I took my money elsewhere since I was not sitting in adrive thru on a hot day. Read more
Not a 1 star review because I am holding hope. I am unsure about the problem with this location. It was great years ago. Then... suddenly it turned to a mess. Starting 7 or 8 years back it just began a major decline. In that process the GM management andemployees have done at least 3 to 4 entire turnovers. In those years many of the managers have known little about theirproducts. Employees are often rude, and prefer to start an argument with anyone & not just the customers who are beingdifficult. The newest GM seems to be trying. Getting food before 2pm Monday through Friday seems to the best option at thislocation. The employees are typically kind & remember most orders small or large . You've seen the meme of the burning dumpster haven't you? Well, this place is seriously that place. Been wanting to go back here... for awhile and decided to do exactly that. Tried to use the drive thru but, it was cash only. In the year 2022, it was cashonly. So, I went inside instead. Well, that was a HUGE mistake. As soon as you walk into the place, it seems like they decidedto mop the floor with grease. It was dangerously slippery. Well waiting for my food, I used the restroom. The door and floorwere soaking wet. Absolutely disgusting. The food was hot and tasted good. But, the service and store itself was terrible. Havesome pride in yourselves. Read more
Awful awful awful- first they didn?t have A&w chicken- breaded or grilled. The long John silvers meals we ordered were old, cold... and extremely greasy. My mother in law asked the manager Jason to remake our order fresh. He had an attitude about it. Theemployee did bring our our fresh food. A little better fries were still cold. Over herd the table behind us complaining of cold,chewy food also. So I chimed in and said ?we asked for our food to be remade? and my mother and law and I left. The managerfollowed us outside to our vehicle telling us we were no longer back in the restaurant, harassing us claiming we were tellingother customers how terrible the food was. Dining room is closed again! Drive thru is so slow! With only 4 cars ahead of us, what's the hold up, seriously? Dining room was... actually open today. We should've just avoided giving them another shot! A fish place? They didn't even have cocktail sauce! Ourfood was all fresh, we made sure to tell them to make everything fresh (that's why we went inside)! All but 4 table were dirty,the cashier was steady. But, when it slowed down he didn't bother going out to clean the tables! He had walked into the diningroom several times and never bother to Clean anything.
