We decided to do my son Lars & his bride Erica's rehearsal dinner at the Sandbar Waterfront Grill. I was totally amazed by the... great atmosphere, friendly staff and the amazing food. I’ve ordered from them a couple times but this time the wrong food was delivered. Less than a minute after the skip the dishes... guy left the manager called & said we got the wrong order & he was on his way with the proper food! The service was fantastic. Our waitress was attentive in a non-overbearing way. It was a chilly day, so we dined in, but the... patio facing the water looked lovely. I had the chicken fricassee, and the chicken breast was the best I ever had. It wastender and perfectly seasoned, sitting on a bed of deliciously fluffy rice. The cloves of roasted garlic and cherry tomatoesrounded out the dish with extra richness and refreshing taste. Really enjoyed the food and atmosphere at Sandbar! The staff were extremely friendly. We loved sitting right near the river and... watching the boats. Great location on the water and staff were fast and friendly. We got the calamari as our app which was good not great but no... complaints. We were disappointed with our perch and perch tacos. We order perch at a lot of local places and this was the worstperch we've had in quite some time. Simply no flavour. The location, atmosphere and staff make it worth a visit. Read more
