I like all the food in this place with the exception of that the brisket! The brisket is never fully cooked and is only... minimally seasoned. The sausage is probably the worst that I've had in a very long time. Really love their BBQ sauce andcoleslaw and all the other fixings but that rubbery brisket no matter how it is cut it's just not cooked properly. Read more
My nephew and I tried their Brisket Burger. Omg! So good. Nice hint of brisket flavor in that juicy burger with super soft bun... and all the fixins. Highly recommend. A Bellaire gem. Read more
Decent. Beans most likely come from can. Taste like it at least. Wouldn?t eat here again though, better places for the price... tbh. Chicken skin is tough , tasted like rubber. Fast... friendly service fresh bbq with generous portions couldn?t really ask for more. We just found this amazing bbq spot the perfect distance from the Home Depot store and Rockwood so my lovely coworker trusted... her Google maps & here we are having a quick bite that turned out to be outstanding bbq!!! Don?t you just love when thathappens, shout out to local Guides for sharing what they love so we get a chance to discover these hidden gems all over thecity, suburbs, even rural areas if it?s good the locals will Google map it!!!! It truly is absolutely fantastic I had thebrisket and the peach & apple cobblers do NOT sleep on those y?all I was angry at myself about cheating on my diet but it?s oneof those deserts that?s so good you get over it real quick. The food was great!! I was looking for some good Texas bbq and I found it. I ordered a plate with 2 meats and 2 sides. The meat... was tender and very flavorful..loved the spicy sausage!! Decided to try a new BBQ place tonight. Reviews were mixed but mostly good so we gave it a shot. The decor is great, outdoorsy... with a lot of deer, boar, elk, etc. mounts, old saddles. And they were playing 70's disco music which we happen to like and at areasonable level. Quick service (to be fair we were the only ones there at the time) I ordered the 3 meat plate with brisket,pulled pork, and St. Louis ribs. Sides of fried okra and potato salad. Wife ordered a brisket sandwich and sides of bakedbeans. The brisket was fair. It had a decent bark but from what I could tell little to no smoke ring. Flavor was okay butmissing the smoke. The pulled pork was pretty tough and I didn't care much for the flavor. You get 1 rib. It was nice andtender, pulled from the bone pretty easy but again, missing smoke. The okra was amazing. Unlike many places that use frozen,pre-breaded okra this was fresh okra and fried when I ordered it. Very tasty with a nice, crunchy breading and since it wasn'tfrozen it had a bit of a bite (not all mushy). The potato salad was also very good. Not sure if it is house made or purchasedbut it was one of the better potato salads I've had. The BBQ sauce neither of us cared for. It's more of a 'Carolina' style withtoo much vinegar. The brisket sandwich would have been better if they toasted the bun. The baked beans I'm pretty sure were justcanned beans not homemade. Price was about what you would expect from a BBQ place, we spent $40 for the meal. Read more
