I've been debating writing this review for a few weeks. Let me preface what I'm about to say with. This is merely constructive... criticism from a long time fan. I love this place and have been coming here since I was a kid, back when it was the originalfloor plan. You have a great food, great beer/cider, great service. You have an amazing product and great service. But there'sdefinitely some opportunity for new energy, even when there's an event or music, the atmosphere just seems tired. It's way toobright in room with the stage after dark. Especially when live music is happening. Even just making it as bright as the main barwould help. There's also too many tables in the stage room when live music is happening. Ditch the two large tables right infront of stage so people can dance on nights with music. It's hard to socialize here a lot of the time, people seemed confinedto their tables. The vibes from the music never really matches the atmosphere in which they?re performing, not because it?s badmusic, but it?s hard to enjoy while sitting at a table. There was a really good band playing a few weeks ago, no one seated atthe large tables closest to stage. It felt awkward that the few people in the brewery were sitting at tables in that dining roomfor an event like this. Work on event coordination/marketing. Don?t have an event start at/do giveaways at 4 pm and have a bandstart at 8:30 pm. Feels like I have to choose between getting the promos or seeing the band. Also, if your advertising that aband starts at 8:30, they should start at 8:30, not before 8. You are by far the best brewery in Michigan and have amazing foodas well. The atmosphere is fun and our waitress, I think her name was Nicki, was amazing. 4 of us got the Ultimate flight to share and... tried everything on tap. They have beers unlike anything I've ever tasted. Everyone can find one they love here! The roastedgarlic on pizza is the best thing I've tasted. Just go, you'll have a blast. Read more

Loved it. Not the first time here, but first review. I'm a Michigan resident, home brewer and foodie. You all are doing what... needs to be done at a real craft brew pub. First time here and I have zero complaints. The food was excellent. Many good American fare. Pizzas, sandwiches, salads, and... appetizers. Very original recipes however. The beer was amazing. I tried a delicious fruity shandy and a very original margaritaIPA and both were fantastic. Service was attentive without being annoying and to top it all off everything was reasonablypriced. %100 recommend this place to anyone. Read more

Love Shorts! We both had the Buckingham salad on Friday night and it was terrific. We loved it so much that we came back on... Saturday night and had the exact same thing. There were different bands on Friday and Saturday night and they were bothexcellent. Also I cannot fail to mention the awesome huge selection of Shorts beer. Read more
