A great place to go for a delicious, southern cooked meal. Each time I have chosen the meatloaf as my entree. I have also tried... the Mac and cheese, new potatoes, dressing (YOU HAVE TO TRY IT! It is the best!), corn nuggets, and rolls. Pair this with asweet tea or fruit tea. It?s wonderful! I highly recommend stopping here if you?re in the area and grabbing a moon pie on theway out. Neat old style restaurant and staff was nice. 20 minute wait to get a table. Kept teas refilled. 48 minute wait for food.... Claimed kitchen was short with help. Other tables that were set after us received their meal before us. Food was good but notgreat. Read more
Great MC ride destination. I have been here several times and the food is always fantastic. Several choice on meats and... vegetables. A good selection desserts. Apple peach or blackberry cobblers. Ask for the dessert special for the day. The placeis usually crowded on weekends so be prepared to wait. I usually call when I am about 1 hour away and get added to thewaitlist. Read more
This felt like going home. I don't know how they do it, but I was waiting for my Mom to come around the corner. The food and... service was beyond incredible. I had the pork chop (singular mind you) with green beans, carrot soufflé, and new potatoes. I amtelling you - I will crave that carrot soufflé until I die. Me and some friends went for a 250 mile motorcycle ride today. We decided to stop here to grab a bite. We have never been here... before and I am impressed. Good atmosphere, busy, and still got served quickly. The staff was friendly and the food wasfantastic! If we pass through again I will definitely be stopping in again. Read more
I love this little restaurant. The furst time I came, I ordered the Grilled Chicken Breast, really not expecting much. It was... very delicious however! I ordered it again on my most recent visit. Bell Buckle makes a fabulous day trip and this cafe is theperfect place for lunch. Everything we ate was delicious. My favorite sides are the fried okra, fries and broccoli salad! Staffis friendly. We did not have reservations on a Wednesday and had no issues getting a table. I'm not sure if they acceptreservations or not. I believe they used to have live music on the weekends in the summer. Loved this place! The food was amazing! home cooked style food and you get a very generous amount of food for the price. The... staff was all very friendly. Only thing that sucked was the 30 min wait but let me be honest it was well worth thewait. Definitely a must go to. Read more
