We ate at the restaurant and loved it! Great atmosphere and friendly service. Two of us had the salmon which was amazing, and... the third had the shrimp cocktail and duck tenders and she loved it. Everything was super fresh, flavorful, and cooked to order.Drinks were also good. Highly recommend! Read more

My most recent meal at the Village Inn was the best I've ever had there, and I've eaten there 50 or more times over the past 25... years . Interestingly, I think this was the first time no one in my family ordered the duck, which just goes to show the thenew menu is well chosen. I had a lamb rack special that was absolutely delicious, with a lovely presentation worthy of the whitetable cloths they use in the beautiful dining room. The duck pie and the fettuccine my parents had were also delicious. I canonly assume the steak my brother had was as well because of how quickly he ate it. The sauces were perfect and everything waswell seasoned. Service was friendly, but a bit slow. I can only imagine how hard it is to get help in Belgrade right now of alltimes, so I give a pass on this. It would have been nice to have a pitcher of water for the table, though. All in all, I'mlooking forward to continuing to dine at the Village Inn in the coming years, and I hope the chef they've got right now sticksaround! Read more
We didn't stay at the Inn but had dinner, and it was outstanding to say the least. The pickles green bean appetizer was very... pleasant, I had the glazed pork chop with garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus. My wife had the flounder with blanch spinach andflat grit cakes. Then the fabulous deserts, lemon cream layered cake and a salted Carmel cheese cake. What an incredibleexperience we had and highly recommend a visit to this majestic restaurant. Read more
Buyer Beware: A reservation confirmed with a credit card 6 months in advance means nothing to the owners of this inn. I called a... week before our stay to be sure we were all set with our early check-in and I was told we were all good. We arrive at theappointed day and time and no one was there . The owner shows up 45 min. later and says "I have no room for you, this othergroup bought out the whole place and one of my high-school employees should have called you 2 weeks ago". The owner showedabsolutely no remorse, no integrity, and no empathy to the fact that we drove 4 hours to be guests at a wedding and theyCANCELLED our reservation without telling us.
