Menu for The Village Inn & Tavern in Belgrade Lakes, ME

Buyer Beware: A reservation confirmed with a credit card 6 months in advance means nothing to the owners of this inn. I called a... week before our stay to be sure we were all set with our early check-in and I was told we were all good. We arrive at theappointed day and time and no one was there . The owner shows up 45 min. later and says "I have no room for you, this othergroup bought out the whole place and one of my high-school employees should have called you 2 weeks ago". The owner showedabsolutely no remorse, no integrity, and no empathy to the fact that we drove 4 hours to be guests at a wedding and theyCANCELLED our reservation without telling us. We ate at the restaurant and loved it! Great atmosphere and friendly service. Two of us had the salmon which was amazing, and... the third had the shrimp cocktail and duck tenders and she loved it. Everything was super fresh, flavorful, and cooked to order.Drinks were also good. Highly recommend! Read more
