Been coming here every couple months the last few years & it's fine. It's never busy, oddly enough, but still surviving. A&W is... a kinda cool part of Americana and I'm glad there's one in this sleepy town & it combos with Long John Silver's so, win win. Hotfood orders always take a while (10 minute minimum it seems) but the service is always friendly and we enjoy our root beerfloats while we wait. I do not recommend their chili cheese dogs but everything else is good. Clean, quiet, miss the jukebox! Read more

The A&W is in the same building as Long John Silvers, I read bad reviews about LJS , so I never went there. The Sign on Hwy 25... only says a free root beer float with gas fill up. Nothing indicating A&W is the Main Restaurant with a full A&W Theme inside. The place is great brings back old times of going to A&W getting car service and drinking Ice Cold Root beer. 12 Full sizebooths, great A&W art on the walls. All you can drink A&W and if you ask you can get it a real Mug to drink it with. (NotFrosted though) The Papa Burger is great, better than most of the burgers served in Belen and Cheaper $7.80 Combo with Drinkand your choice of 5 different sides. The Meat hangs out of the Bun with generous cheese melted and delicious. Just like theoriginal. My new favorite place for a burger. If A&W can make a great combo affordable, why can't the rest of the places whoserve burgers. Read more
