The chef (who recently took over this restaurant) worked at a very famous Japanese restaurant at Toronto downtown, beach area.... Not only that, 10 years at a Korean restaurant before. The food was really amazing. The shrimp tempura was crispy and soft.There are a lot of sushi restaurants in York region, but nobody can\'t beat Sushi Hero. Mouth melting texture ofrolls/sushi/sashimi. If you try seafood udong, you can be sure that everything is made from the scratch, zero MSG. Even the lowsodium home-made soy sauce. I\'ve never written a review but felt compelled to write one.\n\nThe... atmosphere was charming and the service was great.\nThey also gave us a complimentary dish that was an instant hit. A verypleasant surprise.\n\nNot only was the food fresh and delicious, the portions were generous and the presentation was beautifulwith every dish.\nMy only qualm is not having an appetite large enough to order their udon or other dinner specials.\n\n100%would return. Amazing quality food and surprisingly fast service. We were offered a small portion of noodles on the house and it blew us away.... The rest of the meal was delicious as well. Would strongly recommend it to anyone in the area. Read more
