What a fabulous place to take out of town guests. I?ve brought my friends here several times. I?ve come here for desserts for my... family. Or their baguettes to compliment my dinners at home. There is nothing I?ve had and didn?t like. Small family and local,I love that about Austin. I always try to seek the small business people. I?m a loyal customer and my out of town guest alwaysask if we can swing by and pick up something. Well known here by the locals and complete gem of a place. I will note, becausethey are so amazing and delicious, and the locals and regulars know this, they can run out of quantities rather quickly. Getthere as they open, because what you want might be out. The early bird catches the baguette. Everything is packed ?to-go? thereis no inside dinning. Just a few tables outside. The kitchen does close at 1:45pm but the front of the house pastries remainsopen. Again, come early for the selections. Read more

Everything here is delightful! Hands down the absolute best quiche lorraine I've EVER had, and the pastries and desserts are... delectable, everything we've had is divine. Before Baguette et Chocolat, I never enjoyed macarons; now, I can't NOT get themeach visit. My son tried the lemon and exclaimed "Mom! It's like I'm eating a lemon cloud!" It is also run by the best staff -they are all so friendly and we have the best service, even in curbside pickup. Cannot recommend highly enough. *Edited to addthe following* How could I forget!? Best croissants anywhere & chocolate mousse like I've never had! There are multiple moussechoices and in one (triple chocolate, maybe?) there is a surprise layer of feuilletine that will fill you with joy. This wouldbe an even longer review if I listed all the amazing things we've tried - I'll just say every bite we've had has been perfect. Read more

Love love love this bakery. I feel so lucky to have them in my neighborhood. Kouign amann is a must try. Great sourdough bread,... baguette, and CROISSANT!!!! There's a reason they are always sold out. Bahn mi is not very authentic since they use mayo, notpate also no pickled carrot and Daikon inside. Although they are french bakery, not vietnamese deli, so I guess that's fine. Also I don't recommend getting flan on Sundays, it tastes much better on Wednesdays;) Read more

Previous owners sold the place and went back to France. Used to be a great spot, now everything is average at best. Doughy... croissants, thin baguettes etc. Many of the specialty desserts are gone. Keep this in mind when reading other reviews, as theywill not be applicable to the current establishment. Read more

Outstanding bakery! Worth every penny, which is great because it takes a whole lot of pennies. Got two breakfast pastries, a... coffee, and a lunch sandwich and ended up paying $26. I'd love for this to be my regular stop but I'll have to save it foroccasional treats. Read more

Five stars for the chocolate croissant and almond croissant. I wish I took a photo, but we devoured them. We were visiting from... out of town for an event and tried their croissants and they are the best I have ever tasted. The owner or the baker seemed verynice and welcoming. I would love to go back if I could one day. Read more

A yummy French bakery. It is small but quaint, and they have a couple of tables outside. I?d recommend the ham and cheese... croissant and the Nutella beignets. Can?t wait to come back and try others goodies! Read more

Nice patisserie! We stopped by to pick up some pastries for to go just before they were closing. Their popular items were mostly... sold out. We ordered a couple of pastries and coffee to go. They gave us a free baguette with our order. That bread was amazing! Read more
