For being so far from the sea they really have the seafood figured out. You don't get a picture of the mussels because I was... hungry and they were delicious!. Had the stuffed flounder. Not my bag but I'm sure it was great. Wife had the baked fish andchips and loved it. Dessert comes with the meal but due to dietary restrictions (thanks Tully's of Tulsa) couldn't try it. Tried this charming locally owned business with friends. Excellent service and food was suberb. Beers were local craft on tap.we... had bacon wrapped scallops and fish n chips. Friends had crab muffins, quesa dillas, and crab cakes. We all enjoyed the mealand ambience. Read more
A very nice little place. Originally from Maryland, my wife and I do get cravings for some good seafood, and I think we found... our go to place in the hills. None of their food is fried, like all the other seafood places we've tried. Everything is broiledor "oven fried. " There is a pretty good selection, considering how far we are from the coast and fresh seafood. We enjoyed thecrab stuffed flounder. It was, melt in your mouth, good. I am planning a return trip in a few weeks. It was a little expensive,but what seafood isn't. One drawback to this place is that they are only open Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Not sure if it'ssupply chain problems, staff shortage or that they concentrate on the drinking establishment, a lot more profit, on the otherdays. Either way, if you are lucky enough to be going near or through Bedford, Virginia on one of the 3 days they are open, givethem a try. If you aren't into seafood, try the BBQ or the filet mignon.
