We stopped here for lunch after a recommendation from friends and I have to say the food was delicious and the staff was super... friendly. I would gladly come back again. I ate the crab cake burger with deep fried green beans. The best by far. Sorry washungry so didn't get pics of food Read more

Wife and I stopped in for dinner. We both decided to try something new, out of our comfort zone. We were blown away how good our... peach chicken was and the young lady serving us was very pleasant and took good care of us. I would highly recommend. Lots ofhistory. Beautiful place. Read more

My wife and I traveled from Pittsburgh to have our Anniversary meal at the Tavern. My Prime Rib was perfect! My wife ordered the... fried Cod. The breading was excellent and the portion was large and not over-cooked. The Cod was very moist. We look forward toa return visit and another delicious meal. Read more

Friends shared this beautiful place with us! What an incredible surprise! National Historic Trust building...with tasty,... beautifully presented, "done just right" food...at very reasonable prices. A total win/win! Plenty of parking. Baby goats. Indoor or outdoor dining. Original cabin next to the dining room houses an interesting gift shop. Don't miss that adventureeither! Enjoy the outside of the building...then come inside and get comfortable. Read more

Always a great dining experience. Our waitress was friendly and observant especially for drink refills. The French Onion Soup is... the best! We tried the house salad dressing and it?s good if you like beets. They serve Coke Products. Read more

Certainly a historic place to eat. The baked cauliflower was excellent. They have a nice selection of PA brews on tap. The... rest of the meals were OK, but expected better for the price. (garlic mashed lacked garlic!) Read more

Beautiful location inside and out. We ate in the candlelit dining room and loved the atmosphere. Our food arrived quickly.... Large, delicious portions! Pictured is chicken parmigiana with roasted cauliflower, and the fried haddock sandwich with onionrings, and a side salad. Not pictures but also enjoyed the portabella sandwich and baked potato. Friendly staff. I wish I couldgive it more stars! Read more

First time experience. My wife and I liked it. The portobello sandwich was tasty and the French fries and sweet potato fries... are delicious. Enjoyed the not too sweet tea. We even ordered dessert for lunch. Strawberry and oatmeal pies were bothexcellent delicacies to finish the meal. Their reputation is about serving good food and our menu selections did NOTdisappoint.
