It's a quiet family run shop. They do serve some pretty good standard sushi along with some other Korean food items on the menu.... I tried their takoyaki, sushi, and mochi ice cream. I personally always like to try takoyaki whenever I go, and this wasexceptionally good takoyaki. I'm not sure if it's handmade in-store, but it sure tastes that way and it's really good! The outerlayer was super crispy, while the inner contents stayed soft and chewy. The sushi was also well done and I don't normally likemochi but I thought I would give it a try this time. Outstanding food quality, full of flavour and texture. Sushi rice is the best I've ever had. Tako Wasabi was my most favourite.... Delicious! It's all a la carte and prices are slightly above average but it's worth it. Portions are enough to satisfy and notto overeat. Great quaint atmosphere with lots of knick knacks around that bring it a sweet charm. Will definitely be back! Read more

Highly recommend Sushi Kawa! They use high quality and fresh ingredients with lots of attention to detail. I especially loved... the double mon roll as lemon zest added a unique flavor. The tempura bento box was also a good deal as you tried many items andalso got miso soup and salad. The house salad was Kale salad which was delicious and first time I'd seen something other thanlettuce being offered as house salad. The customer service was excellent. I had the pleasure of visiting this place purely based on a recommendation by friends who raved about their rolls. I had some... salmon rolls, spicy tuna rolls and unagi rolls. I was very impressed with the subtle layered flavour of the rolls. The sauce inthe rolls was just right and the salmon and tuna they used were very tasty and fresh! I also enjoyed the Nagasaki Champon ramen(I asked them to make it Korean-style spicy). Will definitely visit again. Read more
