The staff were really friendly and clear in their communication, although the drive thru speaker could be improved. Chicken was... very crispy and tender and juicy on the inside, even the white meat! Don?t forget to ask for sauces. The spicy chicken alsopacks some heat and the sandwiches uses real meat and not ground up meat. Read more

What can I say other then oh my lord this was amazing. We hadn't gone yet because there have been long line ups since they... opened but on this day we were lucky and was the first car in the drivethru. We told the lovely voice in the speaker it was ourfirst time and she made several amazing suggestions which we took a couple of. The food was fresh and amazing. Larissa in thedrive thru was even more amazing. We will go back just because of her. Oh and I can't review without saying how delicious thebiscuits are. Read more

Chicken was oddly too salty and too sweet at the same time. But it was nice and crunchy. Sides are incredibly tiny portions for... the price. The mashed potato is basically a small spoonful of salty potato with a dribble of gravy. The "regular" fries wasmaybe ten french fries. The strawberry cream pie was the best part. Read more

Popeyes was good . I visited a few weeks after opening in hopes of a shorter wait time . It took about 30 min from start to... finish . The staff at the front counter had so much on the go , yet held it together so well . They all Remained friendly andpatient :) My order was made correct and we went through it together before I left . I don't drink pop & it was quite a pricejump to upgrade to a bottle of apple juice , the only other option I was told available . Two 4 piece platters & a singlechicken burger for 50 dollars , I found it a bit high compared to some of the other chicken take outs in the city . The chickenburger was tasty but thrown together in a mess . The lettuce was freshly washed but not dried , making it a very wet burger . Wegot one 4 piece spicy and one 4 piece regular and shared . I personally do not recommend the spicy as it was way too salty . Theregular was nice and juicy and tasted great . The Mac & cheese was good and I love it as an option instead of fries , as I'm nota huge fan of fries . Probably Could have been filled a bit more in the container ... I'd say for being only a few weeks open ,my experience at Popeyes & my expectations were decently met . Read more

Giving this place a great review as the staff deserves it. They all work hard and are trying so hard to keep up with the orders.... The good rating based solely on how the place is being run. The food comes second. Thanks Team Halifax for lunch. In and outwithin 20 minutes. The security guys are friendly too! Read more

Line up was not that crazy compared to first opening still busy . I ordered sandwich and 2 piece platter. Sandwich was garbage... every thing is soaked in oil I don't know how long it's been sitting up there couldn't eat it I had to go change it. Manager Isoaked told me they make 5 minutes ahead I doubt it . If you plan to ordering sandwich i do recommend check before you actuallyput it in your mouth. Read more

Chicken are really good here. Not only the outer layer tastes good but also the meat is tasty. I believe they do marinate... overnight. Meat texture, flavor is fantastic. No blood clot. Moreover, it's a great addition for the people who love halal.Nothing too fancy about drinks and to me drinks are over priced. Read more

Best fried chicken there is hands down! Very friendly staff and the food was all delicious. The mac and cheese is soooo good,... and their buttermilk ranch is out of this world. Went on opening day and it took 5 hours for us to get our meal, but (as aPopeyes lover for 18 years) it was worth the wait and the staff at the Bedford location were working their tails off and doingamazing. Its a statement that on this location's opening day they did better than most of the other restaurants weve visited inthe last few months. Food was hot, order was all there and correct except missing a couple breast pieces. Considering we orderedMcDonalds the other night and literally they didnt send half our order and theyve been open for decades, for Popeyes to knock itout of the park on their OPENING DAY is astounding. Ive been told of offers of biscuits to some people while they wait and ofchicken and a biscuit to some of those that came too late to be served, which is going above and beyond and should be applaudedin the HRM where service (especially in the food industry) has gone drastically downhill. I also heard of some people throwingbiscuits at staff and being rude, if this is true, shame on every one of you. These people are working hard AND keeping a smileon their faces which is incredibly hard to do these days, especially with people throwing biscuits at you. Grow up. But back tothe review... The staff were also incredibly fast considering the huge line and amount of food being ordered, and, as far as Iknow, they were prepared and did not run out of anything. We ordered roughly $150 (16pc Family Meal, Mashed Potaoes with CajunGravy, Mac and Cheese, Cajun Poutine, Onion Rings, Popcorn Shrimp, Large Fountain pop, 12 Tenders, 8 Biscuits and 4 strawberrycream cheese pies) of food and it was ready and in our hands in under 10 mins. Considering chicken takes at least 6 mins tocook, thats some lightning speed and some good preparation and planning. To address a coupl Read more
