It's an ice cream stop. Hit or miss on available flavours. Weirdly refused to do a refund via method of payment when they... overcharged us, and instead offered cash. Cleanliness of the tables outside seems to be more dependant on the weather thananything else. Read more

Shocking TERRIBLE! We ordered chicken burger and got the smallest bun (smaller than my palm), filled with boiled shredded... chicken which has NO seasoning. And that's it!!! No veggies (lettuce or tomato), no sauce, no nothing!!!! Even a hospital mealis tastier than this... I love to support local businesses but this doesn't deserve even one star!!! Read more
I went to Chicken Little during the "Halifax Burger Bash" to try the "Fresh Off The Waffle" concoction . I was greeted by a... friendly employee at the cash . The restaurant itself was very cool with an old 1950s like feel , like you would see in themovies . I liked the vibe of it . The breakfast sandwich included two eggs , two hash browns , bacon and chipotle mayosandwiched between two 1/2 sized waffles . They give you a little package of syrup to pour over or in the sandwich as well . Ittasted good , but it was cold , very cold . As well, the waffle should have maybe been toasted or crisped a bit as it fell aparton first bite due to it being too so soft . I do have a complaint for this restaurant . You have to go to the cash to ask for akey to use the washroom . After eating that sandwich, washing of the hands is necessary, due to all the syrup . I wasn't tooenthusiastic about having to ask for a key , especially if there had been a line up at the cash . I have a serious health issuethat requires me to sometimes have to make quick escapes to the washroom & I wouldn't know what to do if I was put in thatsituation in this restaurant . The cafe is fairly pretty, inside and out it's themed like a old school cafe. The location is well kept and generally service... was good although there was a computer glitch in which the till order had not completely passed into the kitchen leading to afairly long wait before what we ordered came out. We ordered coffee, a breakfast sandwich and a new Nacho dog menu item. Allitems were priced well for serving size. The coffee was alright, fairly standard brew. The breakfast sandwich was good, thesize was good and the flavor was also good. The Nacho Dog was another story. Setting aside the glitch, the bun the dog was onwas fairly cold as of refrigerated prior, this lead to a fairly stiff bun, however since the sauces and cheese were placed onthe sides of the bun left to hh the dog, the dog itself kept slipped up above the bun while eating. The layout looked great buteating it was not super great. The coldness also adversely affected the final result, it was so cold that despite the cookedhotdog the cheese which flanked the side remained very unmelted. The concept itself is fine, the crispy broken nachos on top ofthe dog were actually good, but the mess from the wayward dog was not great. Perhaps my mouth just isn't big enough. I'll haveto revisit some more regular items next time and see if the experience can be improved. Read more
Been there abouct half a dozen times over the summer. Never warmly greeted by staff. Last time we went for ice cream I felt that... we had really annoyed the two counter people by interrupting their conversation, (one was also texting on their phone) this wasmid afternoon and we were the only customers. Today I stopped in for coffee to avoid the construction and I live just a fewminutes walk away. I didn't think to check their pricing and grab a handful of change before leaving the house. I barely hadenough for a medium coffee because they charge $3.00 after tax for a medium coffee (16oz) and the kicker is they don't even usegood coffee. It's just regular folgers. The machine they use also brews the coffee flat and watery. Probably won't be back forcoffee, ice cream or anything else. To either location. There's too many other business's that are actually putting in effortwhile maintaining decent pricing. Read more
