I always come here and service is always great! Love the food but today we had a very bad experience with the food, ordered... salmon which when I received it, it was still raw and had no seasoning. I asked for it to be cooked a bit more which they didbut when I received it it had so hard and really hard to chew and still no seasoning. We had also ordered the lemon pepperchicken. First of all, the chicken was all hard from one side but all raw from the other side and no seasoning as well. Secondof all the plate was sprinkled with a bunch of garlic which made the food have a very strong smell of garlic and even thebroccoli had garlic sprinkled all over it. Have seldom had a bad experience at Shari's food is usually decent and what I expected. Today was the exception. Had food... delivered from a restaurant that is two minutes away at most. Food arrived luke warm. Hash browns were way undercooked, baconwas soggy and limp. French toast wasn't warm enough to melt butter. No syrup or butter for the French toast. They're just so good. When I first moved to to Oregon, I was introduced to Marion Berry jam here and I've been obsessed with... marionberries ever since. But aside from that! The food is amazing. Just classic, affordable, delicious diner food. We decidedto get pie slices to-go and even those were reasonably priced and bonkers delicious. My previous visit, the staff were beingloud (IN A GOOD WAY!) and happy and it made the whole atmosphere feel friendlier! I love when I can hear the staff of anyrestaurant/store chatting and in good spirits. I just love this place. Read more

We have been eating at at Shari's for as long as I can remember and this was our best experience yet. The food was quite... fantastic and our server was truly legendary in quality of service and level of professional interaction. If I could give a10/5 they would have it. What a horrible experience I just had at this location! The women servers here are dismissive and completely ignored me and my... husband. He waited 5 minutes at the register to pay, while they chatted in front of the kitchen and ignored him completely ! Hefinally had to ask someone to turn around and help! They don?t appear to like what they are doing or the customers at all. Theladies room was disgusting.. no paper in one of the stalls, hairs and grime in both sinks.. paper towel trash overflowing. Theceiling had a bunch of paper bags taped together, half covering a huge mess of holes and damage in the ceiling tiles.. seepictures. It smelled terrible. We ordered 2 patty melt meals today for a curb side pickup. We showed up at the minute it said it would be ready and called in... to let them know we were there. It took an extra 12 minutes to get to us, which was fine as they did seem busy and I was in nohurry. We get home and after taking a bite we noticed the other side of BOTH patty melt meals had not been grilled at allwhatsoever. I would not have minded waiting an extra couple minutes if it meant we had both sides grilled. It was a bummer sincethey are on the expensive side and we don't get to eat out very often. Read more
We enjoyed a very filling lunch in the quiet atmosphere. We met there during a non-peak time. But just as we were leaving the... traffic in the restaurant picked up. We really enjoyed our pleasant server and look forward to returning! Read more
