After a full day on the slopes enjoying BigWhite, we dropped in to Bullwheel for a Friday night bite.. Without exaggeration,... the was one of the finest meals we have had. Joe our server was a delight, the timing of everything was spot on...but every bitof the meal was a burst of flavor. It?s been a few years since we have been here, and we are glad we came back. Service is good, friendly and personable. Food is... better than we remembered. Of particular note are the ribs, well braised and fall off the bone. The poutine is a substantialsize and the Bao buns are top notch. Actually all the food we had hit the spot and it all came out in a reasonable time! Wewill be back before the end of the season. Thanks to the staff at the bullwheel, both front and back of house. The Bullwheel was our go-to place for breakfast, lunch and Après-ski. We had skied 8 days at Big White and stopped there almost... daily. The drinks (beer, cocktails or wine) were cold and the food was delicious. We ate 7-9 different dishes and they wereall fresh and tasty. Outraged that we were charged a gratuity on a pickup order and then given the option to tip more when paying WITHOUT BEING... ADVISED. Gratuity is for a service and is at the discretion of the patron once they have tried the food or received good serviceby your waitress. What a sneaky joke. Not to mention the food was extremely subpar. Why is the pho completely black yet stillhave absolutely no flavour. Would not eat here again! Read more
