The place was very clean including the bathrooms. Our server Emily was engaging and a wonderful server. We started with the... mozzarella balls. They were really tasty and the marinara was flavorful. The southwestern egg rolls were really good and thedipping sauce had some heat. We both ordered a burger. They were supposed to be medium but came out well done. The burger had noseasoning and dry. If you look at the pictures you can how dry they are. It looked pre-made and tasted like it had beenpreviously frozen. Not sure it was or not but it was rubbery and had that overall frozen quality. I had placed a simple to go order on 10/16 for a crispy chicken sandwich, with just the chicken, bacon, and cheese at 1:57pm. I... was told that my ready time was approx 10-15 minutes. I arrived at about 2:20 and was told that my food would be out soon. Irequested to speak to a manager at 2:45 and didn?t get my food or speak to a manager under almost 3pm. The restaurant wasn?tbusy at all. Manager stated that the ?new system? maybe didn?t put my order in until I arrived but the promise time on theactual food ticket itself was 2:14. The food came out very cold, all 13 fries (yes, I counted as there were extremely very fewthat came with the meal) were either laying out for an hour or weren?t cooked all the way, and the sandwich looked old and camewithout the bacon. Horrible time compared to the other time I was here. Terrible communication, poor execution, and even worseexperience. Living less than 2 miles from The Pub, I am very disappointed. Read more
The cocktails here are fantasic! I didn't get any real food here, but the drinks were delicious. Also, the sweet potato fries... were amazing; super thick and savory! We also tried their bread pudding, which was great too. Alex was our bartender, and hewas attentive and friendly! Read more
Excellent scotch eggs, perfectly cooked, but too much mustard (it has the effect of burning your sinuses a bit). Great... atmosphere, except for the music which was a mix of American and British rock. This is a British pub. The music should be allBritish, to complete the effect. Let me start by just saying that the food here, is simply phenomenal. If you are craving scratch made, rib sticking comfort... food, this should be your place to come. The bartenders, Allie and Kaitlyn, are wonderful. I always feel like family. Myrecommendation is the Scotch eggs and Shepard's pie. All dishes are made from scratch and the care and quality definitely shows.They also offer a wonderful brunch on weekends, including a full English breakfast and "hangover bowl". Stopped by here randomly while shopping and had and excellent lunch. The place was busy for a mid-week day, but the wait staff... was on it and we were seated promptly. Comfortable, warm seating, place done up like an English pub on the inside, the bar wasan interesting centerpiece to the entire restaurant. My bangers and mash were very good, have not had this dish properly donein a while. Sausages cooked to perfection and the peas and carrots were a nice touch. Their scotch setup was perfect - servedneat with a small amount of ice and water to adjust as I saw fit - very well done! Overall, good meal, good ambiance, and afull belly when leaving! Read more
Wow! The BEST fish and Chips I have had since I was in London last year. So tasty! They use Haddock which usually I never see in... the states for fish and chips. So good. Also try the Gouda Mac n Cheese!!! EAT HERE! Read more
The food wasn't exactly what I expected, but it was good enough. The Cesar salad didn't taste like one, but the croutons were... tasty and the beer cheese is excellent. The service was fantastic and friendly. Our bartender/server was pleasant and fun. Theatmosphere was good except that the world cup wasn't on a single TV. I thought this was odd considering it's a pub and had anEnglish/Scottish feel to it. Very clean though. Bathrooms were spectacular. Read more
