Basil?s has great food. This is the second time we have been to this location and not ordered anything. This time was a... miscommunication about Taco Tuesday. We came at lunch time and the special starts at 4 PM. Too late for us. We left. It seemsthat a change in policy about Taco Tuesday would be good for business. We were the ONLY patrons at this location and then weleft without ordering. We came here again and will not return. They have no patrons and would not allow our party of six tosit on the patio. They said they can?t move the tables. There?s no one out there and the tables are in disarray. The downtownlocation already closed and this one seems on its way too. Down to one star?. Wonderful restaurant! My boyfriend picked this restaurant out to take me on my birthday and honestly I wasn?t disappointed.... Service was nice as well as the vibe inside. I ordered The JF I believe it was in the chicken version and it was really reallyreally good! It came with fries. Everything was fresh and just all around great! I ordered a drink called the Titos blueberrylemonade I believe and I honestly didn?t like it much but it got drank! I didn?t advise the restaurant it was my birthday so I?mnot sure if they offer free goodies but I would definitely be interested in trying this restaurant out again. Read more
Pros first; seems very clean, we liked the spacious seating and decor. Generous pour for the wine. Pork "ribeye" was decent.... Salad was fine. Cons; staff seemed bored. Side of fingerling potatoes and also the vegetables were oily and not well seasoned.French fries were limp. Philly Cheese Steak not as good as at some sub chains. I don't think we'll return. We LOVE Basil's and have been there many times, often introducing others for the first time! Their food is fresh, prepared as... requested, and delicious! We have not been disappointed in anything we've ordered. Staff is awesome! Nice atmosphere! Just wishthey would make a better (fresh squeezed maybe) lemonade! ???? Read more
Let's start with prices. They are up there, but it's not going to kill your wallet for two. I have never seen a restaurant do... deviled eggs before so I was curious. I'll tell you right now to just make them at home, they tasted alright but had anoverwhelming hit of greens. I ordered the Taco Trio and went with the teriyaki beef, chicken, and the Cajun shrimp. The shrimpwas not great. In Ohio you don't get the best seafood but when you do you know it's real. Rubbery with spices thrown on and ahint of that burnt taste with the store bought brands. The chicken was not too bad but the beef was the best. The rice andflavoring was perfect! 3 out of 5 for trying new places. Read more

I had dinner here Sept 14, 2021 with my wife. We have not been here before and came in an hour before close. Our waitress was... awesome! He answered all our questions and made great suggestions. The food came out hot and fresh. I will absolutely comeback again! I just wish I remembered our servers name! Read more
Went for an early dinner and tried the truffle fries, very good!! The shrimp Cajun pasta was pretty good and so was the lobster... shrimp cavatappi. Nothing spectacular but would probably go back another time. Read more
