This used to be one of my favorite places to eat. The new hostess is rude, the orders are messed up a quarter of the time, and... the new cooks aren?t as good as the last. Its pathetic that this is more expensive than Rio and Bandito, and they make you payan additional fee for card, too. Terrible last couple of experiences, nowhere near as good as it used to be. This is not only the best Mexican restaurant in the Beckley area but one of my family?s go to places regardless of cuisine. Over... the years of going here, I have never had a bad meal. We reserved the upstairs room for a going away party for a coworker and as always, the staff went above and beyond. The food... is always delicious, especially the salsa. El Mariachi has the best salsa in the state, hands down. Jose and his staff arealways friendly, professional and accomodating. 5 stars isn't near enough for this place. Read more
