Waffle House is always good. Even when their full and busy, the turn around is reasonably fast. Monesha helped us today and she... is a gem! She took great car of my husband and I, as well as everyone else. She is warm, personable, and efficient. We hope tosee her when we come back. Read more
Came here around 9p, 3 employees were outside smoking right in front the door (super unsanitary) one of the workers went back in... and collected trash & never once washed his hands but got back behind the line, food was ok, a little sloppy but taste was ok .. Read more
Went to waffle house on Dowlen,today 1/24/22to pick up my order,has 2, order of porkchop dinner,grits was like water,no... butter,open up container grits waiste all over my toasts,they has no top on grits,I an my coworker order all the time @nite,late, it usually good this time we order about 8/30,pm,an it was terrible, I called to see if they can replace it ,cause itwas another cook on, he said he will call me back after speaking to his supervisor, haven't heard anything, I will not go backthere,we did good business with them ,no more. The crew seemed very disorganized. My wife's eggs weren't cooked right, brought her grits and had to send back for hash browns... she ordered, and she said the waffle didn't taste right. Bacon and hash browns were ok. The waitress never checked back with usuntil we were finished eating. No drink refills when our glasses were empty or even asked if we needed condiments either. Service was slow slow slow. Adequate personnel they just operate in slow motion. Took forever to get my order started even... though there were only three customers in there(there were two waitresses and a cook). Then they allowed my order to sit untilit was tepid when served. I had the ham and cheese omelet, it was great, the grits and other sides were very good as well. The atmosphere was very... pleasant. Staff was wonderful, cook came to table to ensure he had done a great job in preparing our food. Our waiter Sydneywas awesome in her job. Many thanks for great service and dining experience.???? Don?t get me wrong the food is still great, but while I?m aware that costs everywhere are rising, this place seems to be doing... so with a much more noticeable approach. $1.00 for a to go glass of water with your order and an added, up front, to go chargeadded to take out orders, Waffle House is a past favorite that just isn?t making the cut in my opinion. Most of the time theyhave a recorded message that refuses call in orders even when they actually have no customers in house. And despite the factthat I made the decision the try it once more and went and placed my order in person, I got home only to find out that therewere items I had requested (and paid extra for) that had been left off my hash browns. They certainly have a well staffedestablishment but half the staff is usually out back ?smoking?. Maybe that?s the reason for the forgetfulness about the itemsin my order. In my opinion if you?re gonna go to Waffle House make it a dine in visit, if you try it at all. Read more
