Came from Galveston Texas to experience Pine Tree Lodge for our 6th wedding anniversary! So worth the trip! Great patio! Comfy... chairs and our own cooler which kept us dry on this hot and muggy day! Turtles and alligators swim in the water right off thedeck! It's been a while, but I'm catching up on my reviews. Went here while on a motorcycle ride. The atmosphere was friendly and... welcoming. The food was very good, especially the alligator bites. The outside patio was a nice experience. I was lucky enoughto see an alligator in it's natural habitat swimming below the patio. Nice peaceful place amongst the pine trees. Read more
If you haven't been, you need to go!!! Especially if you have kid's, and like to have a good time!!! Our baby didn't know if he... wanted to feed the gator's, and turtles or dance to the live Zydeco band. Soooo he did it ALL! Read more
The atmosphere was great. The service was excellent. But the food, in my opinion could've been better considering the prices.
Fun place in the boondocks. Good food , had great service. Good pricing with live music.
We enjoyed the Valentine's special. The steak was great. We would definitely eat here again. Nice live music venue too.
This is the best place, hidden off the beaten path! Everything was excellent!! Food was cooked to perfection!! We started with... drinks, which was so good!! Then appetizers, the Catfish Bites will melt in your mouth!! They came with the best hushpuppiesever!! The gumbo...was scrumptious!! Later we ordered the Blackened Red Snapper on a bed of dirty rice!! Yummy! Our friendsordered the Seafood Sampler...next time that's what we're getting!! Lol Staff is very friendly and helpful. Our meal was fantastic. About the best I have ever had - everything was perfect. We loved the fried alligator bites appetizer... along with the fried boudin. The gumbo was great! We sat under the outdoor covered area and it was very comfortable even thoughit was near 100 at 3:00 pm. My granddaughter loved that she could go watch and feed the huge turtles while we kept an eye onher from a distance. A little alligator swam up and made her day. It was our first visit and we will definitely be going back! Read more
