Ordered the chicken tenders with fries and a fountain drink with a cheeseburger to go for my son. It was lunch time and was very... busy. I got my order and the chicken tenders were overcooked,the fries were good ,but I'm not a huge fan of french fries withthe peel on them still. The burgers have always been good here, although everything is sold separately (burger,fries,drinks) andthe shakes are exceptional ????. It's a bit overpriced for the food,but the establishment is clean,service is friendly,and alittle small inside. Very friendly family place to eat. Read more
Absolutely amazing burger joint. The staff was friendly and the food was absolutely amazing. There is a kids menu with generous... portions even for the little ones at a great price! I got the Mushroom Swiss burger with sweet potato fries both items weredelicious. My wife got the Daddio Melt with the truffle fries that she let me try, it was equally delicious! I would love tocome back here in the future if we come back to town. 100% stop here if you are hungry and in the area! Plenty of parking andpublic restrooms are available to guests. Lots of parking in front and behind. Traffic was backing up from the traffic light along Calder Ave so recommend using the turn... in from W Lucas Dr if there's traffic. The restaurant is counter service. The staff was very friendly and will patiently helpyou if you have questions. They had menus at the counter. Place your order and pay first. They'll give you a number and call itwhen your order is ready for you to go collect from the counter. There was a mix of indoor tables and booths as well as outdoortables, mostly covered. Outside was nice, although when it's really windy, like it was during my visit, it's going to make itdifficult to hold on to your napkins. The bacon cheeseburger was really tasty. I got mine on the jalapeno bun. It didn't seemspicy at all. The sweet potato fries were pretty standard. There are two single person restrooms, one for men and one for women.Overall, a nice little burger joint. Read more
We enjoyed our meal at this independent eatery My bacon cheddar burger was delicious...one of the best burgers I've had at a... restaurant in quite some time. The crunchiness of the french fries left a lot to be desired. The diet Dr Pepper and Coke Zeroin the soda fountain we're mixed perfectly. The decor is very reminiscent of an old burger joint and their music list wasawesome (Eagles, Gloria Gaynor, Gordon Lightfoot). Read more
While we were in town we decided to stop and try out Daddio's for burgers! They were rated high on Yelp, so we wanted to try... them out! We weren't disappointed at all! My wife got a cheeseburger with bacon, while I opted for the Blue bacon burger and aside of cheese fries. We got our 6 year old, the Mac and Cheese with fries for kids. He was in that kind of mood. He took acouple of bites then wanted a cheeseburger, so my wife went and ordered him one of those. He said he didn't like his Mac andCheese, but I tried it and it was really good!!! I don't think he liked it because it didn't come out of a box. My wife and Ifinally got to try our burgers and we thought the were delicious with the jalapeno bread buns! Both were cooked just right,juicy and not dry at all! My cheese fries were really good too! My wife opted for the fried onions which were good, but kind oflike onion rings cut in half. We opted to get fountain drinks, but they do have been here! The staff was really friendly and thegirl working the counter taking orders was extremely helpful as it was our first time here. A local hot spot for the casual dining experience. I ordered an avocado Swiss cheese hamburger with sweet potato fries. Both... are excellent; avocado was delicious and the hamburger meat was exactly what I ordered. Plenty of seating area and even TV forthe sport Channel. Recommend DaddiO's. Read more
Food was great! I got the Dave?s chicken sandwich it was very flavorful, of course added some grilled onions. Hubs got the fried... egg burger and added the Mac n cheese and it was also delicious.
