The food was very very good, the ambiance was wonderful albeit the other tables were a little loud, the service was impeccable... all but for one aspect which is where the lost star comes from - this may have been an oversight, and it may not warrant a loststar with how good the food was, but I called ahead of time to mention that it was my partners birthday and they said they canof course do something special, beyond a simple ?happy birthday!? at the hostess stand, nothing special was done. That bummed meout. But green eggs and ham were incredible, as were the pork buns and everything else we ate. Read more
Excellent food, best to make a reservation. It's where the locals go. It's rather small, it's a tavern after all. The menu... selecting was surprising, not your typical bar food. They had gourmet pizzas and several dishes I had never heard of. I playedit safe and got pasta. Everything was very good, we all enjoyed it. Read more

Pizza and pork belly bun were amazing. The entrees, not so much? Duck breast was well done and chewy. The sides were cold. Our... server was great, and the ambiance of the place was really cool. I?m thinking she got busy with another table, and no one elseran out our food. It continued to cook under the heat lamp. I think we?d stick to drinks and appetizers next time. Read more
What an absolutely wonderful place to have a delicious and delightful meal or just grab a drink with friends at the bar. The... lamb is out of this world! So so so good! Owner was there, was very friendly and chatted with us for a while, and eventreated us to a round drinks. Can't wait to head back there again. Read more
Absolutely a great eating experience! Creative food and excellent service! First time customer and we will return! UPDATE.... We?ve now been here about 10 times over the last several months. This is by far the best overall dining experience we?ve had inBeaufort. Just a great environment of great food, friends, and great service ! Try the escargot or shrimp appetizer. Had a wonderful girls' night out at Old Bull! Our server Derek (that may be spelled wrong) was terrific and fun! Along with the... delicious food and drinks, he really made our evening! The smoked mullet dip was a great appetizer, as were the wasabi deviledeggs. All our middle plates were excellent, too. I loved my farfalle pasta. We'll be back again soon! Read more
