The location of this restaurant can?t be beaten. I recently spent four days in Beaufort and ate lunch at Front Street Grill... twice, both times outdoors on gorgeous days. Sunny, sparkling water, just the right amount of wind, not too hot, dolphins in thewater, plenty of boat watching, etc etc. after eating you can also enjoy drinks on a waterfront deck, also excellent. We triedthe spicy margarita and then had numerous painkillers level 2. They were a fine summer cocktail. The tuna tacos came with plentyof tuna and if you ask, they will bring some wasabi to the table. We also had grouper bites and they were good. If you arehoping for outdoor seating on a beautiful day and you are coming around the time they open, I recommend getting there a fewminutes early before opening because a line does form for the outdoor seating. The staff has great attitudes and work welltogether. Front Street Grill was a pleasure to eat at and enjoy the scenery and atmosphere. Read more

Food was fresh and delicious, atmosphere was relaxed. Service was very friendly but inattentive and absent. Highlights: - Be... careful, the cocktails are serious! - Calamari is a great starter. - The Benny was cooked perfectly! - The Brunch Burger isdelicious. - Bartender knows what she's doing. Will definitely be back! Read more

First time trying them out and was not disappointed. Menu with options other than seafood, which is always good. The Pimento... Burger was delicious! Staff were attentive and the atmosphere was pretty laid back. And of course as always while in Beaufortit's always nice to eat outside looking over the water.. you could catch glimpses of all sorts of wildlife from the dinnertable. We had Grouper bites, Oyster Rockefeller, Catch of day, and the Pimento Burger. Read more

Could not have asked for a better experience at Front Street this weekend. The short wait was well worth it to enjoy sunshine on... the patio. The Coco Rita and Pain Killer were perfect accompaniments to the grouper bites and shrimp burger. Super friendlystaff, fresh seafood, and awesome drinks. Front Street never disappoints! Read more

We came here on recommendation from the captain of one of the island excursion boats. He highly recommended it so we thought we... would give it a try. While it was not the best overall experience (hence the 4 stars instead of 5) I'll definitely say the foodwas **exquisite** all around. The portions were fair, the quality of the ingredients was top notch, and the flavor was trulysuperb. I ordered the pork chop, which was delicious in its own right, but the potatoes and gravy that came along with it wereprobably the best flavored version of that dish I've ever had. Everyone in our party agreed that their food was especiallydelicious. The experienced lacked on two fronts: 1. What felt like a small menu and 2. The service. The menu was small but, mostimportantly, it offered very few traditional options, and the ones offered were quite expensive. The service from our waiter wasnot terrible but not as good as it could have been. The restaurant had other patrons bit very few comparatively and several waitstaff so plenty of people to handle the few diners there. We only ordered water for beverages and only got refills once, andeven then only after we specifically asked for it. There was not much enthusiasm in the service or real attentiveness. With somany other options to try nearby, I wouldn't expect to visit again until trying out others. Unless, of course, I was suddenly inthe mood for another delicious porkchop! Read more

We visited on a Thursday evening, not super crowded and service was good. We had shrimp and grits and blackened tuna tacos. The... shrimp and grits were lukewarm at best, the blackened tuna was not blackened and cold. The outside menu was not available andmisleading. Sad because we ate here last year and it was good. We will pass next year. Read more
