We arrived later in the evening because we got turned around on US17, but the valet staff was there to take our car and luggage... up to the hotel in a fun golf cart. The room we stayed in was absolutely beautiful, with a great shower and Tommy Bahamatoiletries in the bathroom. The fridge had two bottles of water and the ice machine was right down the hall near the vendingmachines--very convenient! The bed was comfortable, plus the television was a great size for watching from across the room fromthe sofa or chair. The view of the water was great--we saw some wild ponies at the Rachel Carson Preserve. The staff wasfriendly and helpful and eager to share information about Beaufort, NC. New hotel but don?t pay extra for a ?water view ? . Ours was of the overflow ditch. The only water we could see from our room... was a small view over the dumpster Update: to be fair the Hotel Manager contacted me to apologize. They have reclassified thatroom as non water view and gave me a reduced rate to pool view. I wish they would have done this while I was there. I don?t likethe dishonesty. Beautiful hotel, clean, friendly staff. Valet only right now until the front entrance is finished being constructed. Free... bottled water, gym has plenty of cardio equipment, a bench, free weights and a cable machine. Free breakfast at 7am. Read more

We initially stayed at the Beaufort Inn but it was a dump and the staff was extremely rude to us, so after we had heard about... this hotel had just opened up, we changed our reservations. It was a little hard to find the entrance for the first time atnight. The staff and valet had an upbeat demeanor and were both respectable plus the concierge staff was very accommodating. Plus no fine's for smoking on balconies, 2 complimentary water bottles, plus a large continental breakfast with homemadeblueberry muffins. Unfortunately the pool was not open yet but was being worked during our visit. The room had a largebathroom with a spacious shower, and brand new beds, new air conditioner and there was an exhaust fan in bathroom. For just alittle more you could stay in luxury hotel vs. other options. I will definitely stay here again when in Beaufort. Read more
