The best bakery in Dutchess county. You have to try everything. it worthy ??
Drove 45 minutes (each way) to get their chicken pot pies. They had decided not to make them that day - my bad. So I ordered two... chicken pot pies for the next day. I was assured they would have them. Drove 45 minutes again the next day. They had alreadysold my ordered pies to someone else at 2pm! What? Will not be back. Nothing but an oops apology. Btw I would have happily paidin advance, but the server seemed to imply that it was unnecessary or maybe she was just terrible at communication. Read more
I work as a traveler and have been in Beacon for about 5 months. I've been to just about every bakery. Hands down this is the... best. Besides the loaves made from scratch, they have amazing turnovers and the empanadas are a MUST. I enjoy bringing mypilgrimage home when I can. Every item is soft, fresh, and executed with your umami taste buds in mind. If you have time foronly one bakery/bread this is it! Read more
