We had lunch there yesterday 7/10/22. We?ve been here a few times and always enjoyed it.. this time it wasn?t as enjoyable.... There were 2 tables of customers; ours, one other and 4 people at the bar so, it was not busy. The food was fine, nothing wrongwith it and nothing over the top with it. My husband and I ordered a second round of drinks as our food was dropped off. 20minutes went by after we finished our first round, waiting for the second round. The drinks sat on the bar the entire time withno servers around. We had nothing to drink during the consumption of our meal. I went to use the restroom and when I came out,3 of the servers were loudly arguing with each other about who?s helping more people, who?s working harder and who?s not pullingtheir weight. One of the other employees even said ?hey, there?s a customer that can hear you? but they continued. When wefinally got our drink, we immediately asked for the check so we could get out of there. We tipped our server 20% because it?snot right to mess with someone?s livelihood however we will NOT be customers of Buckalew?s anymore! Read more
Yum, yum, yum?. The sushi ???? was very fresh and the poke bowl ???? too. Enjoyed both entrées. My friends had burgers ????... and onion rings. Delicious. Plus Ruben sandwiches also good. Watermelon ???? sangria was really delicious. ???? Read more
6/2022: Welcoming and kind service all around. Nice selection of beers on draft and creative cocktails. Pub like bar area.... However, the food coming out of the kitchen needs a major tune up. Pass on the sushi if you eat it often. $18 for a Buddha Bowl?Why? Good thing I added the tuna. The competition is tough in this area but limited so it may be busy here during the summer butnot worth a visit. Unfortunately, Buckalew?s is not meant for a foodie. Great for a beer though. Enjoy! Food choices a little limited right now, but everything was excellent! Went early 5:00pm no waiting. Had Bucks Wedge salad. Very... worth it! Had fish and chips. Nice piece of white fish cooked crispy but not greasy or oily at all! We also had clams casinoflatbread, a little overdone on the bottom(blackened) but the toppings were great. I like bourbon and they have a very goodselection and the drinks were excellent on the menu. Our waitress(Julie) was very engaging and refreshing to talk with. OverallI would highly recommend here for dinner. The Bar looked good and they have outside tables as well as an enclosed porch area. Iwill be back!! Read more
