Wanna know a great way to cure the case of the Mondays?? An amazing breakfast!!! I was in South Tom's River for business so I... decided to finally check out Grits & Grace . UNREAL!!! From service to food everything was A1. I got the Gym Rat, scrambled eggwhites with turkey sausage, mushroom,onion, roasted sweet potatoes and Swiss cheese. Multi-grain toast and some fruit on theside. This honestly made my day. If I lived closer I'd probably go here every other day lol. Oooooooofffffff!!! Cutest little joint ever! Great lighting when you walk in, loads of things to browse at on the walls and friendly staff. We were... a party of 3 and were seated quickly and had Maggie our waitress tend to us immediately. I ordered a small stack on blueberrypancakes which were delicious. Blueberries were fresh and not frozen and were sweet and juicy. My husband had the Cali kidomelette and it was one of the best he said. All the veggies are fresh and just bursting with flavor. Such a difference fromfrozen produce that is bland. The potatoes looked disappointing at first but they are so flavorful and delicious. Really a niceplace and great tasting food. Went to Grits & Grace with a party of 3 and we were seated immediately. Servers were great and made sure we had everything we... needed, checking on us often. I ordered the bombelette omelette and it was amazing. The gravy was a great addition to thechicken fried steak in the omelette. The serving size was huge so expect a lot of food for you money. I would pass by this place on my way to work. It was a very unassuming hole in the wall. I then met a guy (who's now my friend)... named Scott who recommended this place. He works there, and I decided to try it out, and boy was I amazed. The atmosphere putsme in the mind of a down home country eatery. The smells coming from the food was intoxicating to say the least. I ordered anavocado toast, and a corn beef sandwich on rye. The food was awesome, to say the least. I was the only black guy in theestablishment (I thought it was gonna be an Eddie Murphy 48 hours moment lol), and the staff treated me as if I was a guest intheir dining room. I will definitely be coming back here in the near future. This is my new comfort food spot. Read more
