Today I got the worse experience ever. I went to store to buy a cake and some balloons for my 3 year old and I stop to the... balloons counter and no one to be found. I went and pay my cake and a cheesecake then passing by the balloon counter I notice aemployee there doing balloons I asked if I can buy some Mickey Mouse balloons and she send me to the register so I did. Iwanted to add a number so I went ti the register again. I was patient enough ti wait over an hr fir this people to figure outhow I flare a balloon that wasn?t even inflatable by helium and it was floating upside down. I went ahead and ask for a weighand she ask me to go back into the line and pay a dollar at this point it was not the dollar it was the wait and my two toddlersrunning around I?m with a cake a cheesecake and being sent back and forward so they called Service Manager Vanesa with nopeoples skills of customer service to resolve the issue. Basically she told me that department was closed and that I had tocome back tomorrow to resolve the issue. At this point I told her she can keep my 17-18 dollar balloon upside down and the onlythink I was hopping is for them to give me a dollar balloon weight so I can place the balloon in place at the restaurant for mybaby. She said no that I had to go back online to pay the weigh or comeback tomorrow. I offer to have her take the money topay but I didn?t want to go back a fourth time to the register. I ask her to ring me up as she was the manager and she said noand just literary walked away from me. So I was so frustrated I left the paid balloons but went back for them because my sonwas crying. I walked outside and the Main balloon flew away because it wasn?t tide correctly. Not a good day. So I hopeVanessa gets some training because it is upsetting to have people like that in customer service where lock of service is soobvious. Today I picked up a Birthday cake for my son and the cake was not what I ordered. The girl that handed me the cake was rude and... told me whoever completed the order form didn?t complete it correctly. She did not offer to fix the cake or any other option. I called the manager when I left and he had nothing to say since I already left the store. I understand mistakes happen butthe customer service could be better. Read more
I have never received bad service from HEB BUT today an employee in the bakery dept ruined that. Called to order a cake, knew... exactly which cake I wanted and was told she was too busy to look in the book for the cake #. Told me to come into the storetomorrow. Well, I?m out of town and needed it Tuesday AM. She then said call back tomorrow when they?re not busy. Guess I?m notas important as the customers today. I?ll get the cake at Walmart. Ordered a Mardi Gras strawberry crepe cheese filled King?s cake from them, placed my order to pick it up the following Saturday,... when I got there they did not have it, gave them the receipt, excuses and something about them not having the strawberries. Iwanted it fresh, but because my party was that night I bought one off the display table. Disappointed, I gave it a two starbecause the one off the table was good. Read more
They have so many sweets to choose from! I spent forever trying to decide, but everything I have had from there so far has been... delicious! They have cheesecake, cupcakes, macaroons, truffles, cake balls.. the list goes on! The ladies who work in the bakeryare super friendly and nice. Their custom cakes are awesome! Sweet people, great variety, very affordable, competitive prices. The fruit tart, to die for!
Garth Road HEB did a horrible job on the full size sheet cake I ordered. The icing was not even on top and the cake was showing... through. Had deep steak marks on the top. The writing on top has skipped placed all through it. This cake was for aretirement part and I was embarrassed to even show up with it. Never order another cake from there again. Read more
