So good! Their chicken kabobs and kefta kabobs are outstanding. Love the rice, garlic sauce, tahini, and salad too. Can?t wait... to try their falafel. Everything is clearly made with love. Thank you, kabob shack, for bringing delicious middle eastern foodto this neighborhood at last! Read more
If you?re a lover of middle eastern food this is not the place to eat! It was our first and last time! The rice wasn?t fully... cooked the kufta was dry and the falafel was not edible! The salad was full of water, at least we know it was washed! $30 forthe dinner and falafel, complete waste of money since it went in the garbage! Read more
This is my new favorite place near my work. They have a great mix of hot dog / American food and some really good kebab and... shawarma options. The chicken shawarma sandwich is my go to, but I have also enjoyed the chicken kebab, baba ganoj, and couscous. Good food and reasonable prices. I will return frequently. Read more
We tried this place originally as Oh My Dog and while it was good, the price was steep and we found we preferred... Portillos. However, when they rebranded to The Kabab Shack we thought we'd give it a try again...and we were pleasantlysurprised! The newly added Middle Eastern food is quite delicious and while some may still say "pricey" the portions of proteinare spot on for the price in the wraps! We also really enjoyed (and recommend) the falafel. We will definitely be back to trymore. The menu for this place is a mash up of both the OhMyDog options and the new Kabab Shack twist - while it might seem likean odd combination it's great for families that are trying to please picky kids and the adults! Pleasantly surprised! Having a husband who is from the Middle East he is picky about his middle eastern food - and rightfully... so! We usually drive all the way to Al Yousif in the south side for their food, but this place has become our new back up forwhen we don't feel like driving 1 hour round trip! Their Dolma (Dolmades) are some of the best we have ever had - so good.Falafel is great, sandwiches are great and their garlic sauce is awesome. Also, their cheese curds are so good - I prefer themover Culver's (Culver Cult - don't come after me). Will definitely return! Read more
